We’ll definitely be back We really enjoyed our trip to Apple tree farm, easy going, very helpful and friendly staff. Clean and tidy. We camped at The Apple Farm last week for a couple of days. It's a beautiful place, quiet with good facilities. Do bring plates, utensils, etc. The shop is great, too, and apple juice is amazing! We'll be back next year. Have stayed here 3 separate times and have loved it every time. We had a campervan and electric hookup. Showers are good and free, washing up facilities, a pool table room with books, a small playground. Gorgeous country settings peaceful and quiet. Not to mention the gorgeous shop on site with juices, cider, apples, strawberries, blueberries, ice cream and jams. Fabulous and will return again and again. This place was lovely, they had 2 lovely donkeys, with a beautiful rose bush beside them. They grow their own apples and make their own juice, jam, sauce ect. So of course i made 3 apple crumble. Your given a free bottle of juice on arrival. There is a town nearby with a lovely walk way. Its a very peaceful area. And fantastic value. Ill definitely be back We stayed at many campsites in Ireland, but this one was by far our favorite and also the most affordable. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, even greeting us with a complimentary apple juice on arrival. There’s also a lovely little farm shop with the best raspberries I’ve ever tasted. Title: Unacceptable Treatment of a Family; Will Not Return As longtime patrons who have visited this farm 2-3 times a year, we are deeply disappointed by our experience today. What was once a beloved family tradition ended in a distressing and unacceptable manner. The core of the issue was a new rule prohibiting free exploration of the farm, which was communicated only by a single, easy-to-miss A4 sheet on a post. While we respect a business's right to set policies, the enforcement by the woman identified as the owner was utterly unprofessional. She did not politely inform us of the rule but instead chose to shout at us on two separate occasions: first when we approached the restroom and again as we simply walked. This aggressive approach was needlessly hostile, especially in front of our two young children. There is no circumstance that justifies berating visitors who have made an innocent mistake. The impact was immediate. Our children, who were once excited to visit, are now traumatized and explicitly said, "I don't want to come here anymore. The lady is so rude to us." If the presence of visitors is so frustrating to the management that this is their standard response, we must strongly advise other families to spend their time and money elsewhere.
