A stunning location with a fantastic castle, there are lovely walks and a beautiful running along side the castle. It has excellent parking and the grounds were clean, tidy and well kept. The fact you can access the interior is great and photographing it from all angles is a pleasure, I loved it you will too, enjoy Fantastycznie! This place is a real treasure and people should preserve it! A very nice along the and around the brings you a relaxing feeling and pace of mind! We walked from Clonmel up there, around 5km one way and totally worth it! of beaten track. No need for tickets. I ruins of old yard and shed. Stream flows beside giving the feeling of a peaceful area. 15min from car park to the castle. Can cycle also. Lots of people out in groups to do it and it's shelters from rain and sun. Can around ruins and out the opposite way to the exit up the road. 1 hour tour would cover Lovely through the forest, along the and then the castle. Great picnic spot. When you are in the car park take the road where there is a gate preventing cars for the quick route to the castle. The bigger road on the right will take you on a loop through the forest, along the and to the but it much longer. It is a small, pretty with a tower on the bank, surrounded by forest. Initially we went to it along the right bank of the river, but then we returned and, having crossed the bridge, we came out onto the left bank and reached the castle. Lovely and old house (castle) with a stream on one side. Free parking, free walking and everyone we met was friendly - some even told us about the history of the house. Apparently it was originally a large house, later fortified, and at one point home to the very unpopular Hanging Judge. Great experience..This is a beautiful wooded site . Calm an Quiet. A lovely way through the woods the is nestled in the heart of the woods lots of pathways along the way lovely for families and young kids Well worth a visit Zeker de moeite waard! Dit leuke kasteel is op loopafstand van een grote parkeerplaats! I remember going there as a kid I grew up in the housing estate just down the road simpler times This beautiful place is hidden away down a country trail 10-15min from the carpark. When you get to the can hear the stream along with the sound of nature and nothing else. Which is really nice if you are wanting to get away from city life. The to and from the is really relaxing and great for a romantic stroll. Beautiful! There are really nice walking trails and the castle, although small, has very nice scenery. When we went there were not many people around and it was very peaceful. Amazing setting with nature and stream next to it. Perfect for family picnic and walk. Bel endroit. Attention, le chateau se trouve sur la rive droite de la riviére, la carte est erronnée sur ce point.
