Matuško is a must-visit in Pelješac, with a fantastic selection of wines, including one of the very best Dingač in the region. The humongous basement cellar is fascinating to explore, showcasing the winery’s scale and history. Friendly, welcoming service and top-quality make it a memorable stop for any lover. Super miejsce z pysznym winem, warto przyjechać i zobaczyć piwniczkę ale również coś kupić What an amazing winery, a must see, also must try the wines! You can have a glass of for 2 euros, and buy yourself a bottle of Postup Julianna (sorry for misspelling) was our host and she was wonderful. She was very knowledgeable and fun to chat with. We had a very nice tour of the underground winery. And then the went really well. We ordered the meat and cheese plate, which was plenty for two and very nicely done. I would highly recommend stopping here for a understanding of this part of the regions My fiance and I had a fantastic last minute booking with Anna Maria who was super thoughtful and professional throughout. She was super detailed about each and we ended up having a beautiful experience. She really is fabulous and we will definitely be coming back thank you! X Place is very good, calm and chill. is very very good. Izvrsna vina, lijep ambijent i susretljivo osoblje. This was a big disappointment — very unaccommodating, with unfriendly and arrogant staff. We simply wanted to taste the wines, but were told we had to purchase a full glass. I pressed for at least a small tasting, and the server reluctantly poured one. Unfortunately, the was so poor in quality that we left immediately. The news? Just 300 meters down the road we discovered Madirazza Winery, which was the complete opposite experience. From the moment we arrived, Anna welcomed us warmly, offered a proper right away, and took the time to explain each in detail — from how it’s made, to the soil, to the way the vineyards grow along the mountain slopes. The were far more refined, balanced, and enjoyable. Skip this place and walk the extra few steps to Madirazza — you’ll thank yourself later! Great experience, still to get degustation sets you should book in advance. Still you can taste each vine by taking one glass and order some cheese plate (which is really good). was really mmmm😋 and thanks for excursion 🫶 Very nice cellar, staff is very friendly and they know a lot about their wines. Food is nice, but could be little bit more prosciutto ln the meat plate. is nice, price is really for the quality of the wine. We had a fantastic tour and at the Matusko winery. Our host Marianna was very knowledgeable about the and history of the company. The underground cellars are much bigger than expected; looks can be deceiving. All the we tested were great, favorite was the Dingac Reserva. We bought a few more bottles and brought back to house. The cheese and ham plates were a nice accompaniment to the tasting. Highly recommend a visit if you’re in the area. We had a fantastic experience visiting this last week. Our guide was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and spoke excellent English. She took us through the vast cellars—said to be the largest private cellar in Croatia. The were outstanding. I especially enjoyed the Pošip aged in acacia wood, which had more structure and depth than the standard version. The Royal Selection Dingač is a beautifully complex, high-end that would pair wonderfully with meats. We also tried the Superior, an unusual and fascinating wine—somewhere between port and Amarone—unlike anything I’ve tasted before. Definitely worth trying. We visited as a group of six near the end of the day to celebrate a birthday, and they kindly stayed open just for us. They also served incredible meat and cheese platters (see photo below), which made the even more enjoyable. Two things to keep in mind. 1) They only take cash, 2) Warning you may end up buying more than you planned; it's significantly cheaper than on the open market. luckily there is a cash machine a few minutes drive asy. Odlična vinarija, a još bolja vina.. Obilazak vinskog podruma me ugodno iznenadio. Jako lijepo. We stopped by on a whim and we were not disappointed. We were given a tour of the cellar which is phenomenal. We tasted 2 whites and 2 reds. Both were very and we bought the 2 reds and 1 of the whites. Thank you for tour hospitality.
