The staff were super friendly and Lovely cafe in a quaint neighbourhood of wooden houses. The products were good and the service equally so. Will absolutely be back when in the area. Very place to drink a coffee and enjoy some sweet cake or pie with it. I had a good cappuccino with a very tasty chocolate cake. The decoration is very warm and tasteful. Very pleasant and helpful service. It's located in a rather peaceful location in a street with old coble stones. Such a cozy establishment. Conveniently placed near the King’s Cave, was just a short walk from where we were. Cozy interior, DELICIOUS pecan nut pie w. whipped cream, can definitely recommend that. Also the hot cocoa was so amazing, one of the best I’ve had to be honest. All in all a great place for a fika, would come again if ever in the area! Also, they had such a cute book on the shelf showing the history of the place. It has such a cool story. There was also some guide books to some places, although we didn’t get to go there as we had already planned our itinerary, but it was to look through. Det visade sig att jag råkat pricka in just dagen då det var höstmarknad och tyvärr kom precis när den packades ihop en timma innan Kakeriet stängde. Det var också ganska utplockat så man kan bara ana hur många besökare där varit under dagen. Jag lyckades ändå norpa åt mig en smaskig morotskaka och gott te i en rejäl kopp. Jag fick klar mersmak och det blir nog fler besök här när jag är i Trollhättan. Fanns också många roliga saker att shoppa, både egentillverkade godsaker och annat. Absolutely wonderful coffee shop/ cakery. We had a perfect pitstop here on a Sunday, when we couldn't find a place to eat breakfast. The food, the coffee, the cakes, and of course the service was top notch. A great selection of baked goods and desserts and a great priced breakfast platter that's sure to leave you full. They also sell their fresh brewed teas and I picked two up for myself.
