Different animals, and nice walk. Visibly underfunded but still quite pleasent. There are little black pigs roaming free that are super cute. It's within walking distance from the river in Lovech. However, it's at the top of a steep hill. It's close to the Park Hotel. The zoo is rundown with cages dating back to Soviet times. There is a Siberian tiger donated by Russia, a couple of bears, a lion and a small pack of wolves, among other and birds. ⚠ Animal lovers may find the experience depressing. The best thing is an amazingly Soviet aminal sculpture about 100 metres from the main entrance. Very walkable and green. Lots of exotic to admire. The only downside it the condition of the habitats, they need to renovate and me them more livable. The were super responsive in their communication with us. I loved it. The place needs serious funding to be reconstructed and to be better place for living for its inhabitants. ❤️ The seemed very polite. A really cozy zoo inside of a forest with a lot of animals! Don't miss it! The Lovech Zoo is actually quite nice, I think it’s even better than the one in Sofia. It feels a bit neglected in some areas, but it has very interesting to see. The zoo is a small. But it's very nice place. There are lion, tiger and a lot of interesting animals. You should have at least 45 min to see everything. Location of zoo is also specific it's right above city of Lovech. There are square right of front of zoo white monument from there you nice landscape to Lovech and the bridge. These poor seem so sad and neglected, I honestly thought the camel was dead until I saw a little movement. The alleys were horrible so if you come with a baby stroller, it would be next to impossible to navigate there. Overall it was really depressing to see the deteriorating state of it all It is diverse, but the are kept in bad conditions, and you feel bad for them. Instead of feeling nice because you see exotic or diverse animals, you leave there with a bad feeling in your stomach for the animals. Не е зле, в сравнение с други зоопаркове. Входната такса не е висока. Намира се в парк, има сянка и пейки. До самия зоопарк се стига през паричен, което също е приятно Неподдържано и мръсно Малко е занемарено. Но като цяло доста подредено. Можеш да разгледаш без да се луташ и да губиш време. Животните живеят в бетонени бункери без грам зеленина или въобще нещо природно, близо до естествената им среда. Изглежда са хранени добре, но хабитатите са под всякаква критика. И като размер и като поддръжка. Бабунът не издъ̀ржа. P.S. На табелата на входа има жираф. Като си купувах билет питах ще видим ли жирафа, и получих отговор, че е имало, но е умрял през 1993-та. 🦒 Много интересно е и е много богат и голям зоопарка. It is trapped in the past. It needs more maintenance and alive look. Be aware that you cannot pay by card. Also, i didn’t t saw any store for snacks or water. Come prepared with a full backpack of what you will need. No parking lot except the side of the road. I give 4 stars beacause we love animals, but I must say the access to the park is quite obstructed. The park alleys that lead to the zoo are in rather bad state and there are not enough signs to show the way and if this was your first visit you would surely feel the need to ask people how to get to the zoo. A baby bison was out of the enclosure, as it had managed to escape through a gap, that must had been mended to prevent this from happening. As a result the baby bison's mum was bellowing desperately and the baby was frantically trying to find its way back. Luckily, eventually the baby managed to find the same gap through the enclosure and return to its mum. Over all, there are some amazing there though and it is worth a visit but a lot of work needs to be carried out to improve the access and tge infrastructure in the zoo. Apologies for the long review! Много празни клетки и не изглеждаха добре животните. Има разнообразни животни,но сякаш откакто е построен зоопарка нищо не е ремонтирано. Всичко е старо,животните са целите в кал,понеже се случи дъждовно време. Но може да се сложи някаква настилка,която и да вали да не цапа така животните.
