The guys were really careful and helped be get launched and safely back in. It was fantastic. Its great to see this lake being enjoyed by so many people. Watching the wake boarders is always great. Well done to the guys and girls that keep this lake and the facilities 100%. We had a great couple of hours paddle boarding and kayaking on the lake. Will be going back and will give waterskiing a go next time. Friendly team, fair pricing, good equipment. Parking was no problem mid week, and selection of drinks and snacks in the shop/reception area. Changing and toilet facilities kept clean. This place is incredible. Sam was super helpful before we came and advised a 30 min slot would be good for beginners. So we booked a load up before arriving! The booking process was simple. We booked 30 mins slots for the kids & hubby who had never done it before & as you can see from the pictures - they were up and on the rope in about 10 mins!! Wetsuits provided which were amazing quality. Jamie was a phenomenal teacher. It’s a family affair with Sam’s dad driving the boat! Jamie has a wonderful manner and kept the kids & hubby calm and encouraged!! We as a family are now hooked & can’t wait to come back. We cannot rate the service and experience highly enough. Thank you all xx 1st time paddle boarding and we tried 4 Lakes Waterski School, the staff were very helpful, the grounds were clean and well laid out. With a bit of trepidation we were given our safety brief and life jacket then it was up to us. As we were paddling out we tested the water and it wasn't cold at all, I've felt colder water whilst on holiday in Egypt. Once out on the water we tried standing, once, twice, several times later success! Even kneeling down and paddling it was so peaceful you didn't mind being wet. Time up, we handed back the boards, paddle and life jackets and used the changing rooms to get into dry clothes. There is also a small shop on site where you can top up your sugar levels. Would definitely recommend 4 Lakes, in fact we have already booked for Wednesday. Me and my mate Paul are cable wake boarders but have no experience behind a boat - Jamie was an excellent instructor and has us both wake to wake jumping in our first sessions - loved it and will be back asap! A great place for an introduction to wakeboarding. Jamie was an excellent instructor and paced his instruction to the student. My 14 year old nephew and I had three 15 minute sessions each - which was perfect to go from complete novice to confident deep water starts and starting to cross the wake. Looking forward to the next time! 4 Lakes Waterski School hosted our group of 12 for part of my stag do a couple of weekends ago...what a day! Really friendly staff, clean and ample changing facilities, warm drinks offered after a dip in the lake, couldn't have asked for more. We were taken out in smaller groups on the boat whilst others watched from benches/loungers on the shore, for wakeboarding followed by inflatable madness and everyone got a really good amount of time on (and in) the water. Jamie was a fantastic instructor, challenging the experienced wakeboarders to do more whilst teaching complete beginners the basics...somehow got everyone up on the rope which is an achievement in itself (particularly given this was day two of the stag!!). We had a mix of ages, sizes and physical abilities and he adapted the tutoring to each individual brilliantly. Also got well involved with the banter of the group making sure everyone got a soaking on the inflatables and giving us a laugh on the boat. Equipment was in great condition, safety measures well explained, really couldn't have asked for more. Thank you so much for looking after us and making it a stag to remember!! 4 Lakes Waterski School is a hidden gem. Monty , Hector and James were greeted with a warm welcome from Sam. They had a 20 minute each wakeboarding session with the patient instructor Jamie who managed to get all 3 beginners up. We will definitely be back.
