Really impressed how much this place has evolved over the years. Hadn't been here for years but took our new grandson there today and really enjoyed the butterfly and farm area. We also went in the soft play which was good fun. Overall, excellent and good value for money too. Thanks We travelled from West London to come here and we were not disappointed. There's so much to see here more than just the butterfly house, which was extraordinary in itself. Reptile room, farm animals, otters, variety of birds just a huge array of things to see for a very reasonable price. Lots of talks and feeds happening throughout the day and staff were friendly, helpful and informative. Free parking too with plenty of space even on a bank holiday. It was a delightful day out and well worth the journey. place to visit. Although not a very big place it is big enough for a few hours out and also has things to do inside the garden centre. The butterfly garden host a variety of different species and the colours are amazing. Plus there are a lot of other animal birds 🐦 etc to see Brilliant afternoon out with the family, this place is HUGE! The butterfly enclosure was my absolute fave, sooo many different butterflies and even ones that had freshly hatched. My granddaughter loved feeding the chickens and baby goats. Listened to a fab talk on the raccoons and their keeper was brilliantly informative, Jerry was so mischievous though haha! my kids and I had a time here, there was lots to see and it was all very friendly and relaxed. Lots of interesting and my kids enjoyed feeding the fish and the goats. Really enjoyed our visit. Quiet enough to spend as much time as you like looking at each animal. We particularly love the Racoons and Otters. Feeding the goats was also a highlight. I took my 18 month old here and we had such a afternoon. I enjoyed a wander round the garden centre with such a huge variety of gifts, clothes etc to buy. Then we spent some time in the soft play area which was about £1.50 for 30 mins which I thought was very good value for money. We then went into the farm park and including some food for the cost around £11. My little girl loves seeing all of the and laughed so much when she fed the goats as they tickled her hand. The staff were very friendly and kind and we had a time. I also enjoyed a gluten sandwich in the cafe and they had some gf cakes on offer which is always a bonus. Would definitely return again. Loved our day out to butterfly world. Was so much bigger than the last visit easily 15 years ago or so. Was to see the zoo and feed them as well as being able to handle some of the animals. One of the staff members Ethan or Evan (sorry can't remember his name but definitely was a E name!) was brilliant and so enthusiastic about the and made the visit extra special!
