After mooring up my narrowboat to shelter from Storm Amy this pub provided a fantastic lunch. Ate too much but made it back to the boat despite eating too much. Should have gone for the salmon. The food was absolutely delicious. Me and my family were made welcomed, the staff were polite and friendly excellent customer service and very reasonable for prices. Boating the Shropshire Union Canal, we moored opposite The Wharf Tavern and had a wonderful experience! The atmosphere and staff were very pleasant and made us feel very welcome.
