Very well presented ! The presentation and demonstrations gave a wonderful explanation of history, historical farming, wool use and border dog and presentation. It is well worth it. The farmer and were available to engage in questions and answers. It was warm and inviting , and most of all educational. I left with a better understanding of farming and hisory. in What an incredible experience. This owned business has the perfect combination of personal and professional. Personal in the sense that it is a small operation with the sense of connection to the guests. Professional in the sense that we were able ro book and pay for our visit seamlessly on their website. This, of course, does not even take into account how awesome it is to be standing on the hills of their farm overlooking the North Atlantic Ocean and witnessing the perfect combination of instinct and training as the dog worls miracles around the sheep. We would highly this hourlong demonstration to all. I cannot overstate how this demonstration is. First, Martin and Trish are hilarious and incredibly friendly. Second, the demonstration is impressive, but also extremely informative. We learned about the area, about the skill of sheepdogs, about the local farming economy, and so much more. You can even book online! I think the most impressive thing is the fact that the owners participate in the preservation of rare breeds of domestic that have lost their economic usefulness, to preserve a living part of human history. It's an cause and an experience. Also, be charmed by the greeter, Jasper. Buy tickets in advance. You’ll be outside along the fence watching the demonstration which is incredible. The presentation is extremely informative and engaging. This is for all ages. This is a opportunity to see Sheepdogs in action and especially to learn about the and practice of raising in Ireland. It was neat to see five generations of their still living and working on their ancestral lands. The dogs are really good at what they do and to learn that it is all purely out of instinct is just amazing. This is what Ireland is all about! Lovely place with lovely sheep. My visited Atlantic Sheepdogs a few months ago. Since we arrived a bit early, Trish introduced the place to us and we could see little before. Both Martin and Ben showed talent with sheep. The lady was very kindly and welcoming. Fascinating morning watching Martin & his sheepdog Mist herding the sheep. Martin was very educational and we learned a lot about the and the local area. Really enjoyed watching Mist’s skills and her response to Martin’s whistle. Would definitely recommend, rain or shine as the viewing area is covered 🌞🌧️🐑 A well deserved 5 star review. From start to finish Trish & Martin & there 3 lovely boys shine. A welcoming run enterprises that delivers on both an educational & keeping one's interest front. Watching Mo, Martin & those at work is an art👏. The views are beautiful too. My little fellas loved it as did I, thank you. Had the best time today at Atlantic Sheepdogs! Even in the pouring rain it was mind-boggling to witness Mo and Martin work the hand in hand (or rather hand in paw). Martin's love and commitment to the animals is purely heart-warming and the family's dedication to keep their heritage alive becomes visible in the smallest of details. Highly entertaining and educational for any age, would definitely recommend!!! Note: the viewing area is sheltered which is a plus and the field is securely fenced off to maintain a safe space between the dog(s) and visitors which is for kids/people who don't feel naturally comfortable around dogs. Absolutely wonderful demonstration! Martin gave a description and watching the dog’s drive to work was incredible. It has a view with the mountains and Atlantic in the background. Very professional and would absolutely recommend. Thank you for sharing your rich and Love for your business! also This does work by giving rare that are almost extinct the chance to survive! This is a wonderful and I it to you and everyone reading this! Wonderful experience. Watching Martin signal his dog to herd is mind-bending. This has been a endeavor for decades and you witness a unique relationship between shepherd and dog. You will learn a lot and will be delighted by the spectacle of one dog precisely controlling a small herd of sheep. We enjoyed the Atlantic Sheepdogs when we visited with Connect the Dots tour. It was very interesting learning all about how Martin Feeney trains his dog to corral the sheep. His dog did an excellent job. There were many that he had to heard. Martin explained all the different commands to us that he was using. He also explained a day in the life of the and the sheepdog. I would highly stopping by for a visit! This is one of the best experiences of our entire Irish holiday. It was incredible to learn about how the sheepdogs manage and direct the sheep. It was both informative and entertaining. A must visit experience! We’d highly it. Fantastic Visit with Martin & Trish. They shared their vast knowledge on farming local and of course the dogs. Seeing the dogs at work and getting up close and personal with new baby lambs, unforgettable.
