There are three different length trails but well marked. I recommend walking through the left gate first, away from Benbulben, so you can come across it from out of the trees. In my opinion it is a more impressive view from that angle. Gorgeous walk! The most impressive reveal will be from the Benbulben loop walking away from the mountain and coming in from the trees. On a clear day, you get a great view of the sea too. Dog friendly and very pleasant with great views of Benbulben Fantastic on a gravel path. Big hill to start but worth the trek up it. Dogs allowed on leads but no dog poo bins to dispose of waste 🫤 ample car parking spaces and designated area for buses or campervans. This is a great little walkabout, super accessable, and three options for lengths. We did the medium option (Yeats Loop @ 5Km), with a toddler, and it took us 3hrs. Must-visit, breathtaking place.
