I thought the interior was a bit dark and dull but might be just me. A starter of 4 mushrooms for €9 was a bit much (IMHO), but they were tasty. I had the burger and chips, while my wife had the Carbonara dish and neither of us were particularly satisfied with our food. €58 later (no alcohol) and we left unhappy customers but as we were just passing through the locality, we were never going to be repeat customers. Probably the best salmon I've had in my life. Highly Recommended 🎖️ Chef refused to offer a child's size chicken curry although on daily specials for adults. Serving team got the blame from owner instead of him directing it to a lazy chef. Chef only decided to offer child's meal after us, as a group of 10 decided to leave. This is a shame generally lovely food but most importantly very friendly serving team, we hope the serving team stands together and not put up with this abuse, absolutely shocking to witness especially as I have two young girls who i hope would never stand for being verbally abused in public like we witnessed today. We are so sorry to this serving team if our stance as upset you all today. Terrible nasty chef Lovely restaurant, the server was lovely, food was outstanding. We had starters and mains. Cheesy Garlic Bread & Potato Skins. The dip that came with with the garlic bread was amazing. Mains : The smash burger and the Chicken and Potatos There was also a service button on each table which I thought was a pretty cool idea although we didn’t need it during our time there. Great spot for a meal, good homecooked food. Staff very friendly and attentive. Well recommended Enjoyed our great dinner at Henry’s this evening. Recommend the turkey and ham or roast beef meals. The dessert was a great finish to our meal. The fish tank was a great bonus to watch! Fish & Chips, Seafood Chowder is 10 out of 10. After looking around the Benbulbin mountain, it rained and we were hungry, so we found this restaurant. But it was a wise choice. All food was so delicious. Even the friendly staff! We ordered 2 roast dinners, food was beautifully presented, hot and so tasty. The staff, although a young staff team, were so professional, helpful and polite. I would definitely recommend and would return if I was in the area again Great menu and can cater to dietary requirements, nice surroundings, would definitely recommend this place.
