We decided to stop here before our trip to Triglav National Park because it was the first one in Bled to open in the morning. We really took the opportunity to equip us with pastries for the hiking day to the fullest, and everything was highly delicious too. Also very kind staff!:) Terrible service this afternoon. I came to buy bread an a protein bar and when I asked the price of the protein bar the girl just told me « I don’t know » with such a bad attitude. She finally scanned it while looking pissed off and I said I wanted to buy it. I gave her 3€ but she looked annoyed again because «  she had no change » . Honestly it’s not a big deal but I had never seen such a bad attitude before. Don’t go there. Also : the bread is not good. *check your receipt* overcharged. Update to my review below since posting yesterday... I gave 5 stars originally but now giving one star due to the dishonesty of this business. We went for the sixth time today and we got overcharged , they charged for three items when we had only two. It could have been an honest mistake, but we are glad we checked the receipt. The lady gave us the money back without issues but we couldn't help but wonder if it was really by accident. I am now trying to think back was I really fairly charged the other times? After reading all the other reviews we think the overcharge was deliberate. If this is true then it has left a bad impression. If businesses make their living from serving tourists and foreigners then you would think they'd not bite the hand that feeds them. (Original 5 star review): Great value and excellent food here. The staff always were great to us. We bought fresh sandwiches each morning here to take for our lunch on our day trips in the region. They were excellent. The staff were really helpful and happily suggested to make a special sandwich for my wife. I had a few great croissants too . I’ve read the reviews. No prices, tick. But, have you tried their Bled cake? Straight from the land of bliss! Magnificent . EDIT *Check receipt* Changing my review from 5 to 1 stars after being ripped off today! We purchased our usual two salad rolls however was charged almost double the price compared to previous days. We questioned the receipt with the non smiling lady with the eyebrows who admitted she charged us for three items and promptly refunded us. I also noticed that the food prices were not displayed compared to the other days we were there. Clearly this business doesn't rely on tourists $$ otherwise why would you treat your customers like this! We will go to the other down the road tomorrow. This was a few minutes walk from our accommodation. We went there every morning during our stay in Bled. We picked up breakfast and lunch to take on our day trips. Compared to everywhere else we have been on our holiday (Croatia, Montenegro, Bosnia, Austria, Italy and Germany) this was the best value for money we have been to!! The staff were friendly and helpful, even making a chicken roll for us as we were there as soon as they opened. Taking tourists for cash cows. I won’t recommand. We have just checked with other people and in Slovenia shops have their obligation to show the price. And this doesn’t do that. We got off for €27 for three cakes and one bread. Terrible service, they look at you with with a disgusted face when I just asked them what's on the pizza's. Have not been asked for the croissant and pizzaslice to be warmed up in the oven. Both where cold and did not have any flavour, especially the cheese. Don''t get me started about the cheese, compare this to a new york pizza and it is a ☆ out of 10. Don't get the croissant pizza if you get it cold or not warmed up because it is just cardboard in your mouth and chewing makes it a rock Disgusting. I would like to see you improve but my feeling says you'ld rather not serve the people and still get payed than making a good without scams. DISGUSTING....!!!!!! As one of the previous reviews says: it’s a rip-off place if you’re a tourist! No price tags on products in the display case. Had two pastry cakes to go and a bag of cookies that were labelled as 6.40€ for a total of 18.90€. Meaning that each piece of the cake cost 6.25. Something stinks, right?
