Rooms are incredibly clean and smell absolutely amazing. I was surprised how quiet doesn't it get during the night despite the main road right in front of the property. I was in Putňa before and had their food and wines and I can't say a bad word, everything was exceptionally good. (local and fresh) At the very end I would like to praise the staff. Long-cooked beef was tender and juicy - exactly the one it should be. The side dish to the beef (dumplings) were dry , but with meat sauce was okay’ish. Red dry of the local production was very good. Nice service and reasonable prices. Unfortunately not the best experience with the restaurant. We called to order a grill plate and asked how much would it be to have it delivered to our place. (We were only about five minutes from the restaurant) They told us it would be 2 to 3 EUR max. (Keep in mind the price was already the same as at the and not cheaper). But no problem. We agreed and ordered. When the delivery shows up they want 10 EUR extra…🤯 2 EUR for the container (total rip off) but even then four times more than what we agreed on the phone. After some discussion we agreed to pay about EUR 4 still more than what we agreed and what they told us. So we definitely do not recommend. Unless you like getting ripped off. Maybe because we are tourist they though well they can pay 10 EUR for a 5 minutes delivery 😳. Regarding the food it was ok (nothing bad but also not really special). The fries and salad were together in the airtight hot container so by the time they arrived they were all saggy and mushed. Also the food was heavily condimented but not in a way like they used something very artificial like aromat. Unfortunately we would not order again. Maybe the provides a better experience but as a tourist make sure to ask for prices in advance. Definitely an unfortunate experience for a EUR 60 take away. We came for dinner while staying in a different hotel, food, attentive and lovely staff, highly recommended. Very nice crew, they allowed me to enter with dog and gave him water.
