Beautiful new camping in the middle of the slovak Tokaj region. Friendly staff, Miro gave us all the information needed, and his colleague made a very nice Turkish pizza for us with local red wine. The facilities are amazing, especially showers. There is a kitchen, BBQ, and washing machine for guests, playground for kids, and at the top of it, this place is animal friendly. Highly recommended! Fantastic place to spent couple of days or weeks. We spent 3 days at the camp with a group of 23 persons on a long weekend bike trip sleeping in tents. The camp site is well located and great base to explore the beautiful wine region of Tokaj on both side of the borders. The facilities are top and clean, you can enjoy the cold beer or wine, eat ribs or pork knuckle on order. Owners are helpful and flexible. Definitelly a place to pin on our global map. Fully recommending it! Amazing place in the middle of very undeveloped area of Slovakia, very cute, modern, slow and trendy and with very reasonable prices. Perfect spot for visiting interesting locations around 😍 just wow After crossing a hot plain the cool wooded hills of Malá Bara were very pleasant and the Tree Tops camp site perfect. We had a quiet night with wild birds, peacocks and hens making a unique dawn chorus. We were warmly welcomed by Ivan and enjoyed the modern shower and toilet block and the outside facilities that made for a relaxed overnight stay. One of the best campsites that we visited! Plenty of space, you can camp in your car, camper, o rent a little house and some kind of apartments (we stayed in our car), or put a tent. Showers and toilets are new, clean, lots of space (you have a chair to put your belongings, few hooks for towels, shower gel, tp). Can buy some drinks and food (we got delicious goulash soup with perfect garlic bread for dinner). There's tables outside, to eat comfortable. Prices not too big. Recommend 🙂 My husband and I camped here 2 nights. This is a 5 star camp site with 5 star service. Clean, well-maintained, a nice kitchen area with electricity, an electric kettle, 2 fridges, and even a gas stove! There are enough toilets and showers (with hot water) for the capacity of campers it can hold. The views are great and there is even a small 'zoo' of goats, chickens, and peacocks. And a lazy dog and cat who will snuggle up to you when you first arrive. : ) The Mala Bara camping is VERY clean and well organized, the people who run it are genuinly friendly and welcoming and the whole experience is fantastic. We stayed there only for one night, but spending time there we were considering changing the plans of our trip because the place is just so pleasant. We didn't have a chance to explore all that Mala Bara has to offer but it is definitely worth a recommendation and we will definitely be coming back. I camped here for two nights, owner is super helpful, great place to relax, view for the surrounding terrain is amazing, definitely you should go there, toilets are super clean there is cooking space and lots of shade to rest.
