Beautiful holiday with an amazing nature. You have a beautiful lake close to you porch and there are plenty of biking and hiking activities around. Couple of Cons : 1- the seemed very outdated and the kitchen items could be improved ( for couple of days I didn’t mind) 2- there are construction work close by, so you should be careful that your bungalow is not close to construction work. Nice place with a lot of facilities. Visited here early in the season with a caravan. Limited facilities open at this time of year (April). Restaurant available though. Free WiFi for campsite but of low quality. Signal not reliable. All in all good site with roomy spaces. Nice park..very neat and clean..great place Beautiful, peaceful holiday to stay with your family. Friendly staff and lots of fun activities. Beautiful holiday park. Established trees and gardens surround roomy holiday homes that still offer lots of privacy. This vacation is a quiet place with some nice villas around the beautiful lake. There also bungalows and camping places. You can hire a boat or rent a bike . At the restaurant by the reception they make the most amazing icecream ever. Nearby the complex (3 km) lies the historical villlage Orvelte, which is a town-museum ( you can see how they make cheese , clogs etc ). It's a nice , paceful place . If you like the Dutch countryside you're gonna love it. Small campsite, good for a stay with smaller children. I spent 5 days in cabin 138. Overall: Please avoid if you have minimum cleaning and guest service standards. This vacation complex is not for me Service/Staff: The people who run this place are rude to the next level, simply expect zero from them and at least you will not get disappointed. You may be lucky to avoid them because, what I found incredible is their working hours, they abandon the complex at 4.30pm and 1.30pm on Sundays , this is when the complex is under no supervision (good luck!) Car Barrier: There is a car barrier at the front, BUT even though they rent big family houses they only provide one card per house, SO , if you have more than 1 car because you are sharing with your family/friends then, you either pay more for an extra card (cheeky) or you need to make sure you guys come in and out at the same time Also, THE BARRIER CLOSES AT 12am NO MATTER WHAT! , yes Cinderella’s you heard this, if you arrive at 12.01am from dinner or an event you will need to your car at the entrance and WALK in the dark, COLD and RAIN (at least my case) through either MUD if you choose to take a shortcut or through a questionable pavemented little road (don’t bring nice shoes), as context my was 3-4 minute walking from entrance, and I consider myself lucky other houses are much farther Cleaning: If you have relaxed standards, then you will probably be fine, but if you are like me , someone who thinks that to put 2 clean bed sheets on top of Garbage (photo below) is a something horrendous to do, then you will understand the cleaning standards of the rest of the house, by the way when questioned about the photo they didn’t apologised; they simply thought did the right thing to do. tip: do not look under beds House: In the photos everything looked nicer, we had 2 double rooms (decent size) and 4 pocket size single rooms ideal if you are the size of a minion , please note only one room in the had a wardrobe, where do you put your clothes? I must be so posh to just expect a rack Beds mattresses, ok for me, but rest of family complained about the pain of trying to sleep in them, one family member moved to sofa as it was better to sleep on. Kitchen is not bad, but they don’t have oven, they have a microwave with multifunction but no proper oven function, also 1 dishwasher tablet for all your stay (be wise how and when you use it!) Shower/bathroom: one was good, the other one only for fit people, as any large person wouldnt fit there Heating: in November with 4-5 degrees, heating was capped at 22 degrees, which should be enough BUT the windows isolation was not great quality, at least it was not windy because it could have been worse Website change monitoring Monitor any webpage for changes – get instant email alerts when prices drop, new jobs are posted, products come back in stock, or competitors update their sites.
