Best in town, aunthentic Piri Piri from the green egg ++++ Our first and last time at this restaurant. On the menu it says made in an green egg, but everything was deep fried(in old lard). The cutlet was pink on the inside,sent it back and got an almost identical piece of meat back after 20 minutes, but according to the staff it's how they serve it juicy. For me that's an stomach ache waiting to happen. The staff didn't even know what kind of meat it was that i referred to. I ordered a radler and she asked if I wanted with or without lemon,I was confused and she said we have with extra lemon added or not. So I said with, then she came back and said ,oh sorry we don't have with added lemon and then brought me a 0,0 % regular beer. Good service, good food, nice ambiance in and outside. No star restaurant, but it doesn't have to be if you're on your way home and don"t want go for fast food. I grew up in Emmen, but have lived near Utrecht for more than 15 years. But even to this day, all these years I still go here whenever I fancy Piri Piri. I go nowhere els than here for the piri piri. The food is still as delicious as ever! I try to introduce as many friends as possible to the best in the Netherlands! The food is amazing. Only downside is that the building is close to a highway so alot of cars drive by.
