We were struggling to turn on the heating system we call them and lady came in few minutes soaking in the rain but she helped us to turn heating on at the bungalow. It was short but very nice and cost effective vacation at the park. Highly recommended Beautiful and very large holiday park with the bungalows nicely isolated in their own cluster of trees. Nice restaurant and swimming pool too We had a good time, but probably most because we met old friends that we didn't see in a long time. I gave 3 stars due to some things that we lacked in the house. I understand this is a general practice, but i don't really understand why i need to bring my own toilet paper and dishwasher tablets. I think the kitchen could have been a bit better equipped, but the bare necessities were there. The pool size is really small and got quickly full, and the temperature was really low (the kids turned blue after half an hour or even quicker). Ive read previous comments about it, but apparently this hasn't change. Overall we had a good time and would come back, but if they would show a bit more interest in upgrading and ensuring the rooms are a bit cleaner, i am sure people would come back with pleasure. (During the night i could hear some animals in or on the roof) Fantastic service, very friendly staff. All you need and more in one place. We have stayed here now 4 years in a row, during Moto GP in Assen. Perfect location and super staff. Hospitality and service are super. House rented was very good. We will be back next year too. Camping is beautiful but restrooms (especially the family bathroom) was very dirty and outdated. My 2 year old was dirty from playing outside all day but the bathroom situation was horrific. Experienced many campgrounds this last week in the Netherlands and this isn’t one I’d be coming back to. I love this place so much! I am an artist and I went there to collect some inspiration and motivation. I spent 2 weeks there. All of the employe was very kind, helpfull, even the cleaner team from the house next to me was smilyng to me at the morning. The accomodations are very cozy, very clean, and there is plenty enough place for your stuff. The dinning place is wonderfull the prices are absolutly fairs. If i have to say one downside, it would be the price if you want to stay longer. I was hopping for a tiny discount if you are already there and you want to stay let say one more week, but its okay. My case is proably unusual. I only can recommand this place, but please let at least one free bungalow for me ^.^ A very beautiful place to camp in! They offered a lot of great activities for kids like a big playground or an indoor swimming pool. The people there were very helpful and kind. I would definitely recommend it!
