You HAVE to visit this place if you're around! Near Pirot, about 1 hour driving (very bad road), go straight to village Slavinja (not Rosomacki vrh), park your car and walk about 20-30 min. Sneakers, not sandals or anything fancy 😄. It's worth every pain! (It could be slippery, so BE CAREFUL) A nice easy walk(approx 1km) leads to an unbelievable with unreal rock formation. You can climb up top to further explore but be careful of the slippery rocks if it is wet. Beautiful canyon, about 5 meters wide and 35 meters deep. The path from the village to the is easy to find, and takes you there in 15 - 20 minutes. To get to the path along the canyon, hiking sticks are recommended. One of the local dogs may accompany you on your walk. They know where you want to go, and would appreciate some food afterwards. Excellent nature sight, very unusual and beautiful. A little crowded on weekends, though... Too many people taking too many selfies. But it goes with the territory today, I guess. When I first saw this place on Instagram, I knew I had to see it. It was magical. Nature really can make miracle. If you want to go there be prepare for one short walk through local village, meadows and finaly forest, after you leave your car.
