Classical brick cellar very contrasting to e.g. Galic winery (another must see). Tested about 15 wines, all with exceptional taste (incl. amfora wine). Host was one of the best if not the best host that I met. We did a tasting and It was very well served and I enjoyed most of the wines. A very nice room for these events. We also were shown the cellars. The most elaborate tasting menu was really special, both because of the extensive selection of fantastic wines and also because Ivan was an incredible host! I came unannounced, they were kind to add me to a group that had just started, and I learned a lot about from Ivan. If you can’t find a here that you would enjoy, it’s possible that is not your thing. I live in New York and I can fortunately get my hands on their graševina (pronounced “grashevina”), but today I discovered their gold label graševina, Chardonnay, Pinot noir, Mercs (blend of merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon), zelenac, izborna berba “select harvest” sweet wine, and vinjak, a cognac under a local name that tasted better than most cognacs I’ve tried to date.
