Originally visited the CafeLab in Murcia and this is a welcome addition for Cartagena. Friendly casual atmosphere with the best quality selection in the region. exactly how you like it using quality sourced beans and stringent preparation methods delivering excellent every time. Generally I take a little sweetner in my but here it becomes un-necessay. The dessert options are also good quality. This cafe is absolutely gorgeous, look at the details on their decor, they're using related things for lights, light switch, door handle, etc, it is beyond cool! The barista are friendly and helpful, there's plenty of sitting, inside and outdoor and their is amazing! I always had my latte without sugar and theirs went down with such a treat, super smooth, not overly bitter or sour, it was truly one of the best I've had. Their hot chocolates are also so good!! Soo chocolaty creamy not overly sweet, amazing!! And don't sleep on their cakes!!! Tried their pistachio cake and it is easily be the best cheesecake I've had in Europe. It is cheesy but not overly cheesy, sweet but not overly sweet, creamy, luscious and the crust is delish too! The ferrero latte is way too sweet for my tho, it could be an option for those who enjoys sweet drink or just learn to drink coffee. If I had the chance to comeback to Cartagena I'll definitely comeback here. Amazing atmosphere, brilliant food, fresh and tasty. Original. Huge amount of coffees. If you are lover - its necessary point to see around 😁👌 The design is really and cozy, and they have an awesome selection of coffees from various places, like the Colombia Nariño Reserve. The carrot cake was delicious, and the staff were friendly. Definitely a spot worth checking out. I stopped here for esteray when I arrived in Cartegena for late afternoon/evening time. My wife had come across Cafelab when looking for places in Murcia where we're heading to tomorrow as I'm a massive fan. They have menus in English and the waiter we had spoke very good English. The Café itself was very comfortable and looked very well presented with some interesting items on display related to the making of coffee. The menus themselves had a selection of different blends that you can drink, either as a filter or one of the many typical Barosta style coffees. I chose a Cappuccino with the Bolivia Sol de la Mañana coffee. This is the best I've had in Spain and on par with any I've had in Italy. It was made perfectly and at a drinkable temperature rather than the usual burning hot temperatures you get in Costas/Starbucks in England where all tastes burnt. This was accompanied by a couple of delicious slices of Lemon cake. My wife and teenagers went for different Frappes. 2 Nutella and one caramel flavoured Frappes. I tasted both flavours and both were incredible (no so good for children). All are accompanied by a tasty biscuits on the side and were very well presented. The bill came to €30 in total. Not the cheapest but it would be unfair to compare this to a cheaper café that push out inferior coffee. I'm really looking forward to visiting CoffeeLab in Murcia tomorrow. A little bit expensive, but I must say that all the products were excellent. The pistacho cake was delicious! 100% recommended! The space is inspiring with tons of creative touches. Their is excellent and their food as well, staff, presentation, prices. Absolutely love it. In general the atmosphere is amazing!!! You will feel very special here. However, the cake that I tried was a bit dry and too much cream in it. Also we ordered chemix, it is kinda small show but I think that you can just order normal espresso ☕️. So is but not so special and not sooo strong. And they just left the jar so we did not know if we can start drinking or not😅 It was quite experience I guess it’s just not my type of coffee. If someone will ask me whether I would recommend this place to someone, I guess my answer would be positive. Because this all things are experience and everyone needs to go though it themselves. So thank you for people who work here and for they make🥰🥳 I love cafe lab! They have excellent coffee, but everything else they have is fantastic too. Great food and cakes.. the best chai latte I’ve ever had.. everyone is very friendly and atmosphere is great. Great place to relax and work on your laptop too. One of my new favorite places in cartagena. We only ate an excellent carrot and cheesecake with our coffee. The choice of beans is not very wide , but the different kinds of coffees is amazing. Hard to choose, so we’ll be back. Interior very and authentic. Chai latte & matcha is served in a erlenmyer, what was lovely 😍 There was only one waiter. He was a little stressed and didn’t speak English so there was some confusion when we ordered but the food and drinks came quick nonetheless 💪🏾 Our daughter forgot her purse in the restaurant and they run after us to give it back to her. Thank u 🙏🏾 We come here sometimes, most often during rush hour. The food and are delicious, the prices are above average, the service is not bad, but sometimes you have to wait a long time for a free table and waiters because of the large number of visitors, but the is always brought quickly.
