Wow this place is huge. Way bigger than I thought it would be and a wide variety of things to see and do for if most ages. Obviously there is lots of to see and feel, but there are also games and activities such as football golf and pool and areas. We went in October half term so there were also Halloween themed things to do around pumpkins and ghosts and ghoulies. Way better than I imagine it would be and decent value as it could easily be a full day out. Lovely place to visit with your kid to see and feed the and enjoy the playground and their daily activities like 🚜 ride, feeding the baby cows, petting little animals, etc. Will definitely recommend … Lovely little to take toddlers and small children but really run down. For the amount they charge think it's time they started putting a bit of money back in to improve it. The young who work there though you can see really care about the animals. Definitely our favourite now!!! Love the improvements and interactions available. Very hands on farm. Loads of opportunities to still get up and close to lots of different animals. And the on site shop stayed open right until close. My son loved his 2 rides. We spent the full day there and my son still wasn't ready to leave at 5pm. We took a picnic but there is a little cafe on site. Lots of parks dotted about all over with lots of variety in! Special first trip for my baby granddaughter! .. Not disappointed! Lots of clean picnic to chose from. The place is always clean and tidy when we visit!. No litter. all seemed well cared for and of food and bedding for all! Likely will be back next year as Tweddle always figures in the school holiday trips out!. Well done yet again staff! A day out for the kids. Really well priced for all the things you are able to do and see on the farm. You can see sheep, goats, cows, llamas, birds, rabbits, pigs and loads more. You can feed most of them and get up close to all of them. Included in the entry price you can have a ride, smaller barrel ride, go on the indoor and outdoor parks, mini-golf, foot-golf, foot pool, go on the mini pedal go karts and go in the building area. During the Easter holidays they also had a fair on (had to pay for the here but very reasonable) and some other related activities. For the entry price this is brilliant value. There are different activities on throughout the day such as feeding and petting them. The food at the cafe is reasonably price and nothing to write home about but there is a good variety and isn't as expensive as some places you go to. There are loads of indoor and outdoor are great. Lots so they don't get too busy. Much better value than most of the indoor around. Best on a day with good weather, we thought we'd spend an hour, maybe 2 with our 18 month year old that has a short attention span;however, he was entertained for a whole 4 hours before we left as he was simply knackered off all the fresh air and excitement. Throughly recommend. Really place to visit enjoy a full day there of things for children to do picnic tables and cafes had a brilliant day will certainly be visiting again Really nice area reasonably priced for the amount of stuff you can do here can quite easy stay most of the day and the children would be occupied during the full day. of places to sit if you bring your own food. Have yet to try the food here so can't comment on that brought my child here a number of times and she always loves it always the little extras like the paid for there now and the around the is good fun experience for my children , reasonably priced , to offer .. well worth a visit Just a day out for a 5 year old We had such a time will be back again Absolutely amazing place, plenty for and teens to do,we visited with 2.. 14,9,10 yr olds and they all really enjoyed it, loads of to see and also feed, loads of parks dotted about,go carts, tractor and barrel inc in the price. Lots of places to have a packed lunch but also they have a small cafe with seating and the prices were very reasonable aswell,we visited during the October half term and the pumpkin patch was on,was of photo opportunities and we got some brilliant ones, the staff were all so friendly and helpful,in particular one of the scarecrows (didnt catch his name) was really good and gave us loads of information about the different events they do through out the year, will definitely be returning and will also recommend a day out here. Absolutely brilliant so much to see lots of different plus can get hands on with some of the definitely recommend place to take ur kid and keep them entertained. In the summer time will b even better. food at the cafe nice as-well We had a fantastic afternoon at Tweddle Farm! There’s so much to do – we only saw part of it, but we’re already looking forward to coming back to see the rest! The was fun, we got to see what the rest of the had to offer, and though we missed the barrel ride, it looked brilliant (and both are free!). Lots of friendly to pet and feed, plus indoors and out – including soft and go-karting. Food and drink were easy to find with a cafe on-site and a cool airstream food trailer near one of the parks, which was really convenient. We visited during the Easter holidays, so there was an Easter egg hunt happening, along with some fairground and fun games at the bottom of the farm, adding even more excitement to the day. A day out for and adults alike! Lovely staff and I was pleased to see all of the had good, large and clean enclosures with of enrichment and looked healthy. Things aren't signposted very well, we only discovered half the park on the last of the day before the park closed. Some of it was very run down and just needed a small bit of maintenance to make it so much better. Quite a lot of broken on tractors with no wheels/seats/steering wheels, boggy and unusable sand pit, no toilet roll in toilets and baby change was very dirty (I cleaned it with a wipe before using). Cafe food was tasty, served quickly and was really reasonably priced. Felt like a high cost for entry considering a similar attraction close by but is a lot larger/newer is the same price. Fantastic day with my grandson Loads to see and do. Spent around 3 hours there and didn't see everything. I'm planning on going back. Everything appeared to be well organised, and you get a timetable for scheduled events to help you plan your visit. Staff are polite and the inside attractions are not too bad but it appears everything outside is very shabby, some items closed off and left and much doesn't look as though it's been touched since it was installed. advance booking is required at weekends I would guess that some people would turn back without paying if they hadn't pre booked, not worth the price of the family ticket. The whole site needs refurbishment. place to take the kids. Came here while on holiday at crimdon dene, decided to walk which was about 25 minutes but would be much quicker in the car. Cute to feed and hold - although we didn't get chance to hold them as we came 2 hours before closing, and area. day had by the grandkids and grandparents to we lived it took our own food but the food we saw was not badly priced Oh my word, where do I start! We went a weekday before the easter holidays the first time. First impression was that everythinh looked a bit tired…BUT: i was wrong. The (5&2) had an absolute blast. Meeting and feeding the animals, barrel rides, reasonable priced food and drink, sunshine and outdoor fun. The kept on talking about it for weeks now, so we went back today. And it was even better. The weather was grey and rainy today, but we had so much fun! Meeting Rabbits and Ginue Pigs, Feeding Lambs, barrel and rides, beautiful peacocks, service with a smile… to end it with an absolutely entertaininh foam party. The staff joined in and the young lady, long dark straight hair and a few tattoos on the arm was just so amazing with the kids! It was fabulous and a day out. Each time we spend over 5h here. Thank you! Brought our 1year 9 month ols Grandson here today. We all loved it. Friendly staff, lovely animals, soft & outdoor park. & Barrel rides. to do for all ages. Next time we come we will do the full day. Lovely place with lots to do we had 3 children of different age ranges and all found things to do and enjoy We visited the while on holiday at the caravan park and WOW. Probably the highlight of the holiday for the kids. We had the best day. The staff were amazing and so good with the at the handling and feeding sessions. It was the most ‘hands on’ we’ve ever been to. Lots of cuddles and feeding. The parks & indoor barn are also amazing. The barrel/tractor was a firm favourite! Excellent value for money. This has possibly swayed us to book crimdon dene again for a uk holiday.
