A club with a truly fantastic location, at the point where Piva and Tara meet. The hosts are really kind, Bodo and his family will do everything to make you feel at home. The food is excellent, the accommodation is new and clean. All recommendations for club Bodo! I had a fantastic experience at the camp even though I was travelling solo. Marko, Maria and the team were great and the was a good 4 hours with stops, which was really fun and allows you to see the Tara Canyon in all its glory. The meals were super delicious and plenty. The room is basic but enough for two nights (I had the cheaper option with shower/WC outside). Thanks for not charging the solo occupation surcharge as well. The only thing which I think would benefit both the camp in terms of attracting more visitors and to help travellers without car like myself is to have some kind of arrangement with the bus times at the border as otherwise it’s a bit hit and miss. On the day of my departure, I left the camp at 9:45, as I was told the bus could come between „10-11“. Eventually it came at 12, meaning I had to wait at the border point for a good two hours. If this could be somewhat streamlined (like getting a quick call from the border checkpoint when the bus is at the other side of the border so the visitors wanting to catch it can walk up), that would be fantastic. I know this is not directly the responsibility of the camp, but I think it could help to attract more travellers passing from Bosnia to Montenegro and vice versa travelling without a car. Thanks again! 😃 So we met these wholesome fellas at the bank who would take us for a tour... but it was so much more than that. They made us breakfast, scrambled eggs, 2 plates of local meat, goat cheese. Incredible. Then we were ready for the tour to begin. It lasted 4 hours, took us upstream on the side of Bosnian borders. Made a few pitstops along the way, mountain waterfalls, passed many breathtaking rapids, met locals on the bank... When we were finished, they had prepared 2 huge bowls of soup, and a gigantic pot of beef and vegetable stew, sliced watermelon... And when we were done - Fed and our heads still spinning from the experiences acquired... we parted our way. I can't express enough how much I recommend this for anyone visiting Montenegro. Helmuts, Dilans, Ieva and family. Located in a perfect place, where Tara and Piva meet and the Drina is born. Lovely hosts, lovely home cooked food made the traditional way. accommodation, wonderful evening parties and most importantly...adrenaline with professional skippers. In one word... awesome! Highly recommended for everyone! Highly recommended for rafting! The rates, including breakfast and lunch, were reasonable. As a vegetarian, my dietary needs were well understood and accommodated. Marco was a great host who gave clear instructions. We thoroughly enjoyed the 3-hour trip with 22 exciting rapids. We traveled here from Slovakia to kayaking on the Tara river. This camp was unique. People are amicable. There was no space for “we cannot do it.” People speak in English, but we also can communicate in Slovak, and we understand each other. The food was excellent, and the bar was open till we finished drinking. On the way there, our jaws dropped seeing how beautiful the landscapes were, and the highway is all the way – no need to worry about the trip. 🥰 The organization was excellent. We started with breakfast, which was very tasty and gave us lots of energy. There was local ham, scrambled eggs, delicious homemade bread, and hot tea. We were given gear to wear, and if the size wasn’t right (shoes, clothes, helmet), we could easily change it. Our guide, Marko, created a great atmosphere right from the start. He shared many interesting stories about the and its history. He led the team wonderfully. ❗️Unlike many other places, here they don’t rush you – they give you time, and we stopped everywhere we wanted. The waterfall was breathtaking, we could jump into the from the rocks, swim at several stops, and even visit a bar where we could get drinks – and there was a waterfall there too. ☀️ Lunch after was just perfect – a big pot of hot soup was exactly what we needed. It was so delicious, it warmed us up, and nobody is left hungry here! The cooking is truly – even my fiancé, who is usually very picky, ate everything.🙌 Dinner was also excellent. Marija told us about the place, and she speaks English very well. The family is incredibly kind – we could choose what we wanted to eat, and they made fish for me, which was divine, and the portions were generous.🍗 The room was perfect: very clean, hot water (amazing after rafting!), comfortable beds, and a stunning view of the river. If – then only here!
