This is a general review of our experience. The restaurant and staff were excellent! However, the was not ideal. We were traveling with children, but were placed in the same group as party-goers. Most of the skippers were also drinking alcohol. With better group selection and organization, this could have been avoided and made for a much more enjoyable trip for families. We had a good overall. The staff were very friendly, especially the guys who welcomed us when we arrived. The food was fine, and the camp is in an excellent location. However, one big downside was on the day of rafting. When we went to get our equipment, the guys handing it out told us we didn’t need wetsuits because it was very hot and that apparently everyone had complained the day before about being too warm. In reality, it seemed there weren’t enough wetsuits for everyone because the camp was very busy that day. This shouldn’t happen, as the water was, of course, ice cold, and we were very uncomfortable without proper gear. This is the best Camp in the whole area! We stayed for two nights there, and we loved every minute of it!! The host Stefan was just incredible! I accidentally booked a room for two(we were a couple with a kid), and he immediately offered me a prime bungalo at no additional cost! It was really thoughtful of him. He also gave us a lot of information about the area: where to go and what to see. You can also order breakfast, lunch, and dinner - the food is delicious and all homemade, so you won't feel hungry at all. :) So again, Stefan, Dragana, and Masha - thank you so much for your friendly and warm hospitality. You made our stay very memorable and pleasant! 🥰 The wooden house is very tidy and clean with excellent position. The food is great as well as the hosts. The organization is at a high level (Nikola skipper was great). The best ever! Excellent camping place with nice bungalows. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The food is good. Obviously, the rafting, the location, and the views are beyond imagination. Our whole family came back here for the second time after our first visit in 2023, and we did the tour on the Tara again, combined with breakfast and lunch. It was another incredibly beautiful experience. At this time of year, the Tara doesn't have much water, so the trip wasn't too wild and everyone had a lot of fun. The food is simple but very good. The service is very friendly and attentive. The organisation is perfect and after breakfast, all participants were provided with helmets and wetsuits. Then, six of us travelled in an off-road vehicle to the place where the boat were lauched about 15 km away. And off we went. With two short breaks, during which we could swim in the 12-degree water, we reached our destination after about 3 hours and approx. 13.5 km. The vehicles were already waiting there to drive the boats and participants backto the camp, where lunch was already prepared and served. All in all, it was a perfect trip. Many thanks to the Modra Rijeka team. We had a wonderful stay here. The meals – dinner, breakfast, and lunch – were among the best we had in Montenegro. The was also very impressive, perfectly organized from transportation to the activity itself. In addition, the staff at the restaurant and reception were extremely polite, helpful, and attentive. We were very satisfied and would definitely love to come back! We had such a wonderful stay at the camp! 🏞️ When we arrived, we were immediately shown to our cabin and even served dinner, despite being late and technically past mealtime — such a thoughtful touch. The service was excellent, the place itself is beautiful, and the cabins are cozy and very clean. There’s a volleyball court and plenty of open space for different activities, which made the atmosphere even more enjoyable. The was amazing, and everything was very well organized from start to finish. We stayed for two nights (about three days), and it was the perfect balance of adventure and relaxation. The food was also incredibly delicious. We truly enjoyed every moment and would love to come back again! 🚣‍♀️✨ We had an amazing at Camp Modra Rijeka! Everyone was warm, friendly, and made us feel incredibly welcomed. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Montenegro and looking for a mix of adventure and comfort. Can’t wait to return!
