But the history, as explained on the plaque, is interesting and there are some good views of the lake from the viewing platform. The fern, wall-rue (DK: murruden, mentioned on the plaque), might be of interest as well. The tower is along part of the Mølleådalen Kløverstier trail, a very nice walk along the shores of Bastrup Sø. Nice natur walk around the lake. The ruin of this late viking-age tower with 6 meter thick and massive stone walls stands on top of the landscape overviewing the beautiful Bastrup Lake. Free parking right next to the tower. Many great walks from here. Very nice place to watch a sunset. Quite unknown/secret place to go!
