Simply the best swimming I have ever been too! Lots of different things for all ages. We had 2 hours here before our flight home but could have stayed all day. So clean and new. Amazing place. spend the whole day with your family in this wonderful pool. I really really liked the panoramic with access to the street. My daughter liked that most of the pools located in this mini park have very warm water. much warmer than the ones we were in Germany. I would like to note the good condition of the dry and wet sauna. as well as 2 slides. A modern swimming hall newly built just about two years ago and well maintained. There is also a climbing section . There are saiunas both in the swimming area and in the washing/changing rooms. There is an eating area as well as very chiils and family friendly. Note! No phornes and cameras are allowed in the swimming areas. Tromsøbadet is a modern indoor park in Tromsø, Norway, offering fun for all ages. Would like to recommend to experience it for all age group. Many warm pools. The outdoor is a must. The is a +38°C. You may see skier all around and planes up in the sky while being there. Since the premise is within the deep of the island. The fun was fun with accessories and equipment provided for young and old. The indoor slide is great for the kids and the choice of diving from "olimpic heights" is exciting for the adults. PROS: Clean and modern, great views, was not boiling hot but mildly warm. CONS: 1) 80% of the Cautions signs and Terms are written in local language only, not tourist friendly. 2) Aligning with the temperature, the staff brought a sharp breath of northern winds as well: to provide some background information, I did take my shower following the written rules before entering the area, my hair and body was wet, and then after 1.5 hours one stuff stopped me as I was just going from one to another with my hair dripping, saying that I need to shower. (I was like, what???) There were no written rules stating that anyone was required to take multiple showers upon the staff’s request, nor any indication of the standard to which visitors should shower. It was unacceptable to be interrupted in the middle of an enjoyable moment for no reason. As you can see from the review languages here, most of the visitors are tourists. If you're looking for a quiet swim or peaceful bath, you'd be hard pressed to find a good time to do that without going early in the morning. Since the place is heavily financed by tax payers, perhaps it's time to introduce a higher price for tourists. Otherwise, I believe locals will begin to resent the pressure on infrastructure and reduced quality of life. You ask at the entrance if it’s possible to borrow or rent a towel. No but you can buy one twenty euros. Enjoyed the place. And when you are going out, you can see the sign for borrowed towel….i asked réception : « oh yeah, We don’t do it today »..you mean for tourist ? So i gave back my 20 euros towel that I couldn’t bring with me. Nice leisure centre for around 200 NOK, diving boards, infinity and saunas, next time I will visit the climbing centre The facility is clean and well managed. We visited around 8am, and there were not many visitors in the morning. Specially, the outdoor was amazing to enjoy chill air in the warm water. You can bring your own towels. Good place for kids as well. Price-quality is great, the place is very big with a lot of different pools and amenities. It is very clean considering the traffic of people and children. I think it was a bit crowded. The sauna got a bit tight and the smell of the fries and ketchup got a bit strong in front of the first swimming pool. We were a bit worried of the high price point - but it was worth every crown! Everything is new and fresh. There are lots of different pools, so there's something for everyone here! If you are a tourist wanting to swim here, i would not reccomend it. Firstly the parking is quite confusing. Its badly navigated where the parking spots are. Secondly, when we wanted to swim, we were stopped by crew because we were forced to shower naked. I find this really weird. Swimming was overcrowded and the room temperature was cold. Food was also cold. For the price you pay i would’ve expected much better.
