This is a great place to say tucked away in woodland at the top of a dusty unmade road. We were made very welcome and given a room upgrade. Our room was very large with a balcony and a separate bathroom with a shower. The dinner was also very good, goulash and venison as well as bear on the menu but we were too full to order dessert unfortunately. Breakast was also plentiful with scrambled eggs with mushrooms and as a welcome surprise a bear pate which was very tasty. Dom Frata is very quiet and an excellent spot from which to go walking or mountain biking. The road on our outward journey was through dense woodland again on a dusty track. Quite an adventure! Good food. Lodge in the wood ambient. A bit remote location from main road. Nice walks possible to three walleys. Krka, Globodol - Mirna peč, Dobrnič. Restorant is well know to be of top quality, however a lover know fact is that there is a small but sweet bike park besides the location. Delicious food with specials like bear goulash. A bit more difficult to access (about 3 km of macedam late part of the route), otherwise recommended It was the only place open on the1st of May. The surrounding is pleasant. The staff friendly. There choices of food is quite interesting for the area ... snails, frogs, bears and deers are on the menu. This gostilna propose also some accomodation. A quiet, secluded, clean place in the woods with very friendly hosts. In other words.... perfect! Highly recommend it! Absolutely fantastic people and amazing food!
