This is a great little where we have come repeatedly over the years. This January 2023 it features an exhibition of the French artist and judo champion Yves Klein's work, exposed on the ground floor and a second featuring aborigine art one floor down. As I suppose most of you interested in Yves Klein knows, he is particularly recognized for his blue color and his connection to Japan, where he also got his judo grades as one of very few foreigners at the time. Very nice museum. We really enjoyed the Interstellar exhibition. It had a huge variety of different media that satisfied all tastes. At the end of your visit, you can relax in their which had a very nice atmosphere and views. One note to visitors in cars: the parking situation is very bad. We had to park in a 1 hour only parking in front of a supermarket. I hope this gets rectified. The Opale Fondation opened with two very interesting exhibition (until 31.03.2019). The first, with Yann Arthus-Bertrand, is a global retrospective of the french photographer. He is well know for is work "from the sky" and his commitment on global warming warning, but all of his work and long career is worth a look. The second, Robert Fielding, has a smaller exhibition on Aboriginal art, but is also very interesting. The of the is a must try. The cuisine is Australian / Aboriginal, the service top of the line. If the weather is nice, the terrace is the perfect place to end the visit with a direct view on the lake and on the mountains ! Visited a recent exhibition and film of the work of photographer and environmentalist Yann Arthus-Bertrand. A wonderful location with an excellent restaurant. Set by the lake in Lens. This deserves a visit. The location is beautiful and the village is cute and clean. The reatorant in the is offering a good selection of differen dishes that make the choice difficult! If you are visiting the in a sunny day make sure you will reserve a table outside the view is gorgeous! The gallery was a hidden gem; fantastic collection of Australian art though some scenes were quite sad so don't bring young children. Stylish and faultless, sociable waiters really brought the place together. Children's food as thoughtfully prepared as adult food. (Don't expect chicken nuggets and chips.) Overall an amazing time. Skip it. We were very disappointed with our experience here, felt like we deserved a refund. I think we left after 5 minutes. The art is very basic throughout the whole exhibit, it really did not draw you in with any detail. An area was roped off, so perhaps half of the was inaccessible. I would have never paid so much if we knew how limited it was. Beautiful museum, with an excellent restaurant, overlooking a small lake. Must visit while staying in Crans-Montana. Great exhibit, albeit a bit quirky and small. Worth the 6.50fr I paid to enter (visitor pass discount) Website change monitoring Monitor any webpage for changes – get instant email alerts when prices drop, new jobs are posted, products come back in stock, or competitors update their sites.
