A great lookout point situated slap-bang in the middle of the Danube bend. Hikes up to the tower are pretty easygoing with good views if the river when the foliage has begun to clear. The tower itself has 360 views stretching out to Visegrad on the other side of the river and Szob to the east. A great spot for lunch if you are on the blue national trail. We went up on the blue trail within about 40 mins, amazing view, a bit crowdy but a must in Börzsöny. You can see the Danube bend and even the High Tatras as well if you are lucky! Amazing spot after a long hike ;) Great scenery for most parts of Danube Bend, relatively easy walk for most of the way, approach from Zebegény or Nagymaros only last bit is a bit slippery/steep. 4 stars only, as so many people on a nice day It is a beautiful place with a wonderful view of the Danube making its serpent like turns. The only problem is the road to get there. Signaling the proper pass was not the primary goal of the local society. It is very poorly signaled and very often if there is a tour of the region you want to accomplish the signals of the trail are changing very often causing disturbance.
