While in Cardiff, we decided to try out Rooms and chose to play Sherlock 2 and we’re so glad we did! We were just two players, and it was such a fun, engaging experience. Our host, Amelia, was absolutely amazing. She explained everything clearly, made us feel at ease, and gave us just the right amount of help when we needed it. Her hints were spot-on and really helped us progress without giving too much away. She made the whole smooth and enjoyable. The itself was fun and chill, we had a and left with big smiles. Would definitely recommend giving it a go if you're in the area! Callum our games master was great! Very friendly, informative and delivered an exceptional game experience. Rooms are very well designed with lots of and really enjoyable. The stickers and badges are very cool! Overall fab and we’ll definitely be back. Came here for our works Christmas party and it was fantastic. The Staff went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed ourselves. Emily was really helpful and couldn’t do enough for us. She sold the story to us and really made the experience. The staff were also very willing to help when we needed to reschedule, which we found so helpful. The staff are an asset to this place. 10/10 from us. Really recommend the Sherlock 2 if you’re really clever 🤩 Absolutely brilliant fun. Our most recent visit was the Sherlock Holmes themed room. We went with the kids who loved it. Our guide was Sam who was so helpful. We made it out with seconds to spare (and his help !) Will definitely go back. The rooms are superb. Booked in as part of a weekend away with my daughter. We were not disappointed. We did the floor 13, which was a mix of challenges, and very well thought out. We had such a good we stayed for a second and did Z. Harder, but still such fun! The staff were so nice, Fern was our for both and was just lovely. Really helpful and looked after us. The team clearly throw passion into creating these rooms, and it shows. Highly recommend !!! We did 'The Thirteenth Floor ' and found it really good. There was a range of and everyone enjoyed solving them. Will go back and do another. JJ was a good and explained everything well and gave us just the right number of hints 😁 What a place! Alex, our host, was really and helpful without being too much. He gave us clues that gave us little pointers without giving everything away too easily. The room, Asteroid Quest, was brilliantly themed with 80s toys and games and there was a back story that linked clearly with the theme. I won't give too much away about how to but there was a mix of locks (not too many), puzzles, physical games and logic. This has been our favourite so far. Thank you for a really enjoyable hour! We had an at Rooms Cardiff yesterday. We'd never done an before so didn't know what to expect but was amazed at how detailed and well designed the was, and we had fun. Our Callum was really welcoming and friendly. Will definitely be paying a second visit! This was my second at Rooms Cardiff, and it was just as fantastic as the first! On my first visit, I did The Tomb, which was an incredible experience, and this time, I tried The Serial Killer a thrilling and intense challenge. The attention to detail in the setup is outstanding, with every element carefully thought through to create an immersive experience. The were clever, the atmosphere was spot on, and the whole was both exciting and engaging. This is by far the best I’ve done in Wales, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fun and challenging adventure! Can't wait to return for another room. Visited ERC with a couple of friends a few weeks back and had an all round. The atmosphere was and all of the staff were super friendly. We experienced the Astro Quest with the help of our host, Mike, and had an time. The itself was so interesting and well thought out and we had a figuring out the puzzles. Mike was too - he gave us a rundown before we went in and made us feel so at ease and was on it with the hints when we needed them. We had an incredible and will definitely be coming again :) Second we've done an here as we enjoyed it so much the first time. Booked last minute on the day. Really and appropriate tailored support from our host, offered hints at times but also given the option to decline which we appreciated, too. Completed Cardiff castle which we felt was done well, nice mix of and challenges, much the same as the previous here. A really good for a group of people to take part in. The was excellent, it was themed perfectly to the challenge we had chosen. Sometimes things don't go to plan, but Amy was there to make sure we had an excellent time, she kept it really casual and made sure the 6 of us were all well prepared for the ahead of us. We look forward to returning again very soon! We played "Z" as a group of three and had an experience! The zombie theme and story was very well thought out. Definitely nerve wracking in the best way. The sounds and lighting kept us very on edge. The themselves had plenty of variation, a good mix of physical and electronic. Our Games Master, Will was brilliant. A few of us have experienced in being games masters so we were able to have a good, conversation and briefed us well. I would definitely recommend to anyone with a love for horror. A really quality Room. So authentic and well laid out. We had a brilliant and Amelia, our host, was so and helpful. We did the Cardiff Castle which was tricky in places but we had lots of fun. We'll definitely be back and highly recommend it! My friend and I did the 13th Floor and we had an absolutely time! The itself was so well set-dressed and we found the tricky enough to keep you working but still really fun and interactive. As a group of 3 we tackled The Tomb 2 with our incredible Toni. We escaped with just 5 minutes to spare, which really shows that the level of difficulty was perfectly managed for us. Hints were generous but still cryptic, the was beautiful and on theme, the were interesting, keeping you thinking but not overly complex or with answers that seemed a stretch. Toni was incredible welcoming, explained everything clearly, was friendly, funny and obviously really enjoyed their job. Will definitely return to tackle another when we can, and if possible, I would definitely ask for Toni to be our game master again - they really helped to make the event! Accessibility: I am autistic and sometimes use a cane to move around. I was having a good mobility day so no cane used today. The was rather tight, but wasn't over stimulating for me personally. The music did get louder/faster towards the end and it was /very/ warm (August heat plus small room). I would say more than 4 people in there would have been too much for me to handle. The required some careful feet due to the dark, wooden planks and sand (if you dont like sand, it did involve digging/kneeling in some). There is one section that requires crawling through a crate entry way, but the entrance was large enough for me (size XXL) and my 6'5 rugby player friend!
