But the cheese schnitzel was good and the prices rather cheap. Food variety is low. Not much besides fried or baked potatoes and some meat. Waiting time is long. Service is below average, did not feel welcome there. There is a terrace in the summertime. The pub attracts with its funny theme but does not meet expectations. Don't recommend. Koht oli meeldiv. Tilattiin kanasalaatti. Saatiin 3 salaatinlehtiä, muutama viipale kurkkua ja 3 kirsikkatomaattia. Kana oli ilmeisemmin jostain säilykepurkista koska ei muistuttanut kanaa missään muodossa. Salaatissa oli pieniä kärpäsiä. Itseltäni jäi syömättä, mies söi "koska oli maksettu" ja sai ruokamyrkytyksen. Ei oltu syöty samana päivänä mitään ja oksentelu/ripuli alkoi n.2h vierailun jälkeen. I loved it. A great find for anyone who appreciates pub food. The portions are generous and very tasty. The service is friendly, and the meals arrived in a reasonable time. Prices are very fair and on the cheaper side. For anyone traveling on the Tallinn–Tartu or Tartu–Tallinn route and feeling hungry, I definitely recommend turning off to Põltsamaa to enjoy good food and friendly service. Just good simple home kitchen food. Kinda medieval atmosphere inside, outside terrace more like bar. Nothin fancy but just a ok 👍🏼 Delightful chicken Kiev and potatoes with the most delish gravy.
