The induction for the go ape took agesss but apart from that it was all good - the zip lines are really fun. My 9 year old did all 3 courses but my 6 year old found level 2 a bit tricky - the were and helped her finish it - many thanks to the excellent there, they both had a day. My 6 year old wants to come back when she's 9 to do level 3 :) Friendly and enthusiastic guide in 'Leah.' Good course. The only snag I felt was the safety lines and where the zip wires run on many of the challenges was a scrape hazard for my head (but I understand the course has to suit a variety of heights.) It was enjoyable, challenging in parts, and a different couples activity for us. We will return, but might try out a different venue/course for variety! Thank you. experience with my sons and my dad. Really fun day out! Had a instructor called Alan! Very professional and took you through all the steps, I even got a bit nervous and panicked, he helped me through it and reassured me! He also had a good laugh with our group as well! Definitely recommend for a fun afternoon! family fun instructors were realy helpful and understanding would definitely go back. Conquered my fear of heights yesterday at Go Ape Normanby! 2 adults and 2 kids (7f and 8m) and we all absolutely loved it! We did treetop adventure, courses 1,2 and 3. We felt completely safe all the way round and even when I had a bit of a wobble atop course 3 the stewards were there to make me feel confident and safe to complete the course. Absolutely day, highly recommended as a really fun day out! The at Normanby Hall Go Ape were brilliant. My daughter was scared of one of the obstacles and the especially Jack, Molly P and Mike showed real kindness and patience with her. Their encouragement meant she was a able to face her fears and complete the course. She loved it and wants to go back. I want to say a big thank you to the 3 of them and the other for their support. It really did make a lot of difference to the enjoyment of the activity. Was a experience! The weather was great. Will definitely be back for another adventure. Paul was our instructor and he was very helpful and informative. No question felt daft. Highly recommend this go ape! All were lovely. I’ve been wanting to do go ape for a while, impulsively we chose to go today. Me and my two boys (7)&(5) - the whole process was so easy. You get a really good induction when you’re harnessed up and even a little practice run so the kids can get used to clipping and unclipping themselves. We were only able to do the adventure but this was perfect for us though with little ones. The were all brilliant, friendly and really helpful. Cheering the kids on and encouraging them, one of the even came over to help my youngest cross a section he was too scared to do alone which honestly made my day. We will return that’s for sure. The course is beautiful, the scenery beautiful. But what is absolutely is the help I got from Hollie and Molly P, I unfortunately learnt the hardway I do not like climbing. I had 2 panic attacks and the girls helped me tremendously thank you so much!! You are truly amazing!! We visited today (21/06/25) at GoApe Normanby Hall for my sons 6th birthday and I can't sing the praises of instructor Matt enough! At one point my son got worried so he joined him on the course and helped him through as even his dad for reassurance wasn't enough and then my other son followed suit so Matt then moved his carabiners around my son who was now confident, my husband and then on to my other son to help him through. He really was with the children and so was Darcy our other instructor with all 3 children especially my niece who got very scared and wanted to come off in the end, she helped her get through the first loop by keeping her calm and cheering her on! What an team, and both my sons enjoyed it that much in the end thanks to Matt that they can't wait to come back again! We had a at Go Ape on the Tree Top Challenge. Special shout out to Jack who was fantastic when my daughter when she had a wobble half way round. He was calm and patient and guided her until she felt confident again! She left feeling brave and so happy that she was able to complete it. Thank you! You are a credit to your team Excellent trail! Had an here! The ladies were too! Will definitely be back experience from start to finish, really enjoyed our day. Did the Treetop Challenge course with family and my 10 year old daughter and who absolutely loved it! Thanks to Maisie for all her help and expertise throughout! We took our 6 year old to Go Ape at Normanby Park, and it was her first doing it so she was slightly nervous. Matthew there was absolutely and went round the whole course reassuring her, and giving her tips on how to go over each of the crossings. She got a bit stuck at one point, but he was very kind and encouraging, and took the to give her some extra reassurance. She ended up completing course 3 of the Treetop Adventure, which we weren't expecting her to do! Thanks Matthew, you were great, and we had a time! again. We regularly visit the go ape. I would highly recommend it’s a day out for the kids and adults. Thanks to Matt, Sam, maisey, Joe Brilliant! Jess, Molly B and Alan were super friendly, patient and professional with the boys, we had an accident and had to go back to the car and they stopped the clock for us. We all had an and will be sure to go back Took my nephew, we both Had a this morning and the instructors were lovely, helpful also could have a laugh with them to make the nervous go away so thank you for that.
