Popular with locals, it has bathrooms, good access to the water, a fountain and a sandy shaded Beach area which is good for kids. Schönes Fleckchen Very close to river. Good walking and biking roots. Good to swim at the river. We love it here, great for everyday chilling, beer drinking, swimming or jumping from the bridge in to Rhine, or even grilling - there are 2 public grills. Just take your food and wood. The only thing what's missing is some shop or fast food. You have to bring everything with you. Good public park, very quiet. Such a sweet little place! Very clean. A short bus ride from Schaffhausen or leisurely stroll. Very peaceful! An great place for swimming in the Rhine and laying on the grass. I call it my private beach. Nobody there first thing in the morning. You would never guess it existed if you're not a local. Upstream swimming makes for a good morning workout. There is a small section of 'beach' big enough that the kids can use it as a sand pit, but a nice edition. And it's for free!
