Wonderful course a hidden gem.We went to the bar and restaurant after our round view of the course from the stand.Staff ,food drink all excellent will be back for sure Excellent course that winds its way through and around the racecourse. Great day out with the juniors at the course, course and we'll maintained and we went up to the restaurant for a bite to eat after the game. There was nothing left on the plates! Speaks volumes. Many Thanks to all the staff. Paul Moran. Craddockstown club. This is a beautiful course.. Wide open first 3 with all sorts of danger, water, gorse and Bunkers.. Then into park land for the next 12 holes..plenty of water Bunkers and trees. It does get very narrow at times but it's not unfair.. The last 3 are back into the race course.. Long par 3, shortish par 4 then longish par 4 to finish.. Plenty of Bunkers and water to get your attention.. The pick of the is the 4th.. Go and play it see it for yourself.. Straight out of agusta national I kid you not Pretty course in my opinion. Lots of different types of holes, narrow, water, bunkers etc and playing inside a racetrack is pretty cool as well. I'm a rubbish golfer so maybe my view is a bit worthless to golfers but I like the course This is a really nice spacious club. Staff are really friendly and helpful. Food is lovely. Worth a visit. There is a lift for people less able for the stairs Great food, great staff, athmosphe, love it. Nice course. 6 in the centre of a horse racing track. A decent test of golf. Very reasonable green fees. clubhouse and food. Well worth a visit We had a lunch today at the Restaurant in Gowran pk. We had a welcome with the staff. Especially Michelle and other staff was very helpful friendly and could not do enough for us. Lisa was working at a function , made time to come and check where we ok. We would recommend this place for food as it is extremely good. Thank ye all for yer kindness. Course in great shape & very test not a weak hole on the course. Just in superb condition . Nice experience,testing but not crazy difficult and greens really good. Lovely views and food in the upstairs restaurant. What more you want? Beautiful course with lots of memorable holes. Very value. Will happily play here again Great course and some quirky Was here a few years ago and thought this course was one of the best around. Was there yesterday and while the layout of the course is fantastic the upkeep of it is leaving it down big time. The greens were terribly slow for a scratch cup plus the amount of bare lies around the greens and on fairways leave a lot to be desired. Staff always welcoming, food excellent as always. Expensive food Went for a Christening and was not impressed. Staff was rude and service was slow. I know more people that have booked in for Christenings here over the coming weeks. I will be telling them what to expect.
