We overheard a dad telling his 4 or 5 year old girl that if she wanted to go on the activity it was not free. She obviously couldn’t comprehend this as I suppose she just saw bouncy stuff, ropes, climbing stuff and a lot of other stuff see in play areas. I really felt for him in that situation. She just wanted to participate. is too expensive, really. It is possible to buy online tickets but once there you might find that you or your members are tempted by other once they see them (perhaps this is what was playing out with the girl and her dad?) As regards the Octagon, the safety briefing was thorough; they really impress upon you the safety aspects. The activity itself is hard work physically and it gets old fast, in my opinion. My teenagers got more mileage from it but after an hour they were done. Conveniently, the zip-line launch platform is immediately adjacent to the Octagon. The zip-line is a fabulous thrill and well-worth doing once if you’ve not done it before. As thrilling as it is, it is far too expensive. €18.50 on its own. A of four costs nearly €80 for a 30 second zip-line. This place is a public park, in which this “not for profit” entity exists. But quite quickly I found that once here and once see what’s on offer it can quickly turn into a theme experience and if you give into your then you better have deep pockets. Once finished, when you’re all tuckered out and you’re still recovering from open-wallet surgery, you and your rug rats will require feeding! Best of luck with that! 🅿️ Great day spent doing the "scavenger hunt" aka their seasonal Once Upon a Wish Summet Trail, helping Filbert the frong. Note that if you choose this activity you will follow along with your little ones, answering riddles and questions throughout the park. We also did the combo with Junior Woodland Adventure Course which was perfect for our 4 and 6 y.o.s The Bouncy area was included. The Coffee in the area was surprisingly good and they had milk alternatives for my lactose intolerant self. All the was very and helpful. The high point for me was (aside from amazing nature and a fun trail) the delicious food from TukTuk satay sauce was delicious, Thai green chili and nasi goreng we yummy! My son Oran and daughter Kala just finished a week of summer camp. Holly and James we amazing all week. The said it was the favourite camp they've ever done. Highly recommend this camp to everyone. I did the purple route, then the red route and I think the green route around the lake. The total walk was around 8km. A few hill but nothing to worry about. Great shelter from the elements. Plenty to look at as you wander around. The zip line goes over head, there’s archery, kayaking and boating on the lake. There’s a coffee hut in the forest near the fairy village. A pleasant with good play area. Very interesting and well presented museum describing the geology and social history of the local coal mines. We use this weekly to walk our dogs . We have noticed that there are no dog bins or poo bags available within the . I feel this would encourage owners to pick up after their dog and not have messy footpaths . Also dog leads are not enforced as my dogs have got harassed / attacked numerous times . The surrounding woodland offers several walking trails, with the longest estimated to be around 5km. Families can also choose between playground fun or a boating adventure. We done the Magic portal experience for 2hrs and it was well worth it. It’s €30 for an iPad so it is more cost effective depending on how many people go.
