Magnificent with a stained glass portrait of all 12 disciples John the Baptist and Jesus and a giant spire that serves as the landmark for directions in Tralee. One of the highlights of Tralee and a where one can pray and feel closer to God. Beautiful ⛪️ Not the most ornate of churches, not the most interesting either, and nothing particularly remarkable, except for the stone clad columns down the sides, set back from but almost down the aisles, holding up the roof. I got the feeling everything else inside could be taken away if needed. The main moveable features being 2 large marble angels knelt down holding fonts of holy water at the entrance to the aisle, and a large 4 poster bed like canopy over the alter with a dove hanging from the top. Despite the simplicity and basic nature, this has an atmosphere and charismatic appeal that pulls you in. A service is interesting but I found the priest hard to hear, maybe I'm going... Anyway if you are in Tralee, it's in the town and well worth a visit. A spiritual place for reflection, prayer and thanks. Most amazing architecture, stained glass and statues are here. Regardless of your faith, you can appreciate the beauty of this place. A beautiful church, recommend a visit. I will definitely return Very beautiful église A very beautiful i was there yesterday and as soon as i walked through the doors i was captivated by the beauty of this give it a visit you will not be disapointed i was on day visit to tralee and waiting on train i saw spire in distance and headed for it and i was glad i did ☺ Beautiful old just off the town centre with the town park as a backdrop. Beautiful Church. Lovely building but unless you like listening to Daniel O Donnell I wouldn't pop in for a prayer. The is for prayer not for playing music, even if it is Christmas. I popped in to say a few prayers but had to leave again as music was too distracting Exquisite glass windows both old and modern. Lovely Irish character in exposed walls, and 2 gorgeous angel sculptures worth seeing Lovely place we had there the best sending to my beautiful Mine savanna the love of my heart I love you tell you meet again grandad Website change monitoring Monitor any webpage for changes – get instant email alerts when prices drop, new jobs are posted, products come back in stock, or competitors update their sites.
