Aqua Dome Tralee: A Chilly Trip Down Memory Lane 🥶 Visited today—it's still stuck in 2015s. One tiny slide, 15-minute wait in Arctic air. so cold I was grateful for my shortie wetsuit yes! I remembered it used to be freezing out there!. Showers: lukewarm roulette wait time 10 min. Lockers a complete joke you hardly can fit one bag into it. Drying area: chaos. Hand dryers mounted like booby traps—kids nearly scalped. Everyone huddled around one socket like it’s the last campfire on Earth. Only win? The rapid and wave pool—kids it. But honestly, unless you're a penguin or a socket-hunting parent, there's not much to stay for. Verdict: Time to defrost and invest. This place is great! Came here with my on a Sunday. They have many facilities that are for kids, although admission is pricey. No swim caps needed either!! Me and my friends came here once and we did enjoy ourselves, There is lots of changing facilities, the restaurant in good, the slides activities and the lazy all good fun too! The spa is lovely and relaxing. However, we were all very ill in the few days after visiting here. I don’t think it was a coincidence and I question the cleanliness of the deck and the itself. Would try again to see but that was a big downfall for us. Nostalgia overload! The Aqua Dome is just how I remembered as a kid. Very surreal to bring my own children back now! They it. They (2 yr old and 3 year old) especially liked the waves in the and the lazy too. We stayed for about an hour and a half. The only thing that loses the star is the changing facilities are absolutely tiny. I'd knock a divider every second one to double them in size but they would still be small. Very tough to dry and dress kids. Next to impossible to be fair. Anyway, food was great. Very simple stuff. Pizza and chips, sausages and chips, etc. Reasonably priced also. Happy enough. Enjoyable visit. Not having been in years you realise it’s smaller than you remember. Two hours is plenty for the kids. Wave is ok. Main is very good. Small outdoor is fun, little waiting and over quick. For 18+ there’s the sauna and steam rooms that are excellent. Ok food options. Good seating area. all to deal with. A brilliant day out for all ages! The Aqua Dome is such a fun and vibrant place — from the wave and lazy to the thrilling slide, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. It’s clean, well-managed, and the were friendly and attentive throughout. We didn’t have to wait long to get in, and once inside, the atmosphere was full of energy and laughter. A way to spend a weekend — we left with big smiles and happy memories. Highly recommended! Really this place. There are four different types of saunas. You can also get a six-month membership — very good prices. That’s what we’re planning to do next. The pools are great, and it’s an excellent place for families with as well as for couples. We liked everything. Nice place to relax with kids, wasn't very busy anytime we were there. Beside the there are few different saunas plus cold to dip in after sauna. Easy drive from Ennis/Limerick or Cork. All day adult ticket cost 18 euros, discounts available. indoor and well maintained park. enjoy the place with heated pools and various other activities such as rapid river, slow river, waves, fountains and slides. For adults, we have various steam, sauna and cold silent in it. The dome has its after shower and hair dryers as well. It also offers a quick bite inside the campus. Visited on Sunday, was okay not that crowded. Hope to see more slides and games but enjoyed the waves and rapid river. Few notes to consider: Lockers are compact so may not fit handbags, make sure to take small bags only. Only few rooms and they are always busy. Have few 1€ coins to get access to the lockers. A wonderful place to spend time with and children. There is a function, waves and it is very exciting. There is an excellent sauna with several types. We visit here once a month. I recommend visiting. Good entertainment for our kids. The Vitality Spa is adult only, which is great. We had bought tickets upfront, but we still needed to wait in the regular queue. Long waiting times for slides. The was clean and the activities were regular so the were able to enjoy and it wasn't overcrowded, front desk were lovely. However, the aim was to get my 4 year old more comfortable in the and one of the lifeguards was so rude and aggressive that my son was actually nervous of the "people in yellow" so we left. What happened was: in the baby section with the my son was holding onto the wall pretending to be spiderman with myself next to him and the lifeguard roared "hey" and when my son looked up he continued to shout at him. It was totally over the top, it couldn't have possibly been an urgent issue or a health and safety issue and as I kept an eye on the lifeguard it was clear he was in bad humor or maybe hungover. The Aqua Dome is a Fantastic place to visit and bring your family. Also this place as a kid and going as an adult with the brings back such fond memories and makes you feel like a kid again. Very enjoyable day out as always. Worth a visit big time for anyone who has never gone 🙏🏻 fun here with our 6 year old he the way the changed from normal too waves and then a river, big and small slides were good and not much waiting considering it was a Saturday morning We had a fantastic experience at Aqua Dome! The front desk was welcoming and efficient, and the manager was incredibly kind, ensuring our stay was smooth from start to finish. Our children the park, which was perfect for fun with well-maintained pools and slides. The restaurant was attentive, and the food was delicious with options for everyone. Overall, we’re fully satisfied and highly recommend Aqua Dome to others. Looking forward to coming back! for Kids, but Overcrowded Our little girl had a wonderful time here, and in the end, that’s what really matters. The sauna was absolutely fantastic and a real highlight. However, the overall space is quite small, and they allow far too many visitors per day, which does take away from the experience. An online booking system could easily solve this. The place clearly takes inspiration from Eastern European bathhouses, and the temperature was perfect. That said, the crowds meant long waits for the slide. Cleanliness was generally fine. The snack bar were very friendly, but the food itself was the typical overpriced frozen pizza. Another small inconvenience was having to leave the to reach the snack bar, as there’s no direct access. Overall, it’s a spot for to enjoy a fun day, but due to its size and high number of visitors, you need to keep a close eye on them, as accidents could easily happen in the crowd. Brilliant day out . The are super. The more senior /managers to the young er are brilliant. Cafe people 100 percent. Ordered 2 meals at different times and both excellent. The " one more time" request from was granted, but the camera phone on deck wasn't. ( rightly so!) . The two hour trip was worth it. The activities are good, but they are designed only for children. Although 90% of the clients come with kids, there are only four changing rooms. The washing areas are also very small, making it practically impossible to wash a child. Extended fun day out! We had a fantastic time at the aqua dome. The big was a hit with all of the big and small! We also the wave machine. A way to hang out together. Looking forward to our return visit. I have used the pay as you go membership this winter and it is a deal. I’ve used the gym, and thermal suite regularly and it is a fantastic facility. are always so friendly, it’s very clean and it’s a real treat for the kids, my 5 year old son is cautious in the but going to the aqua dome has brought on his confidence hugely Website change monitoring Monitor any webpage for changes – get instant email alerts when prices drop, new jobs are posted, products come back in stock, or competitors update their sites.
