Lovely pub and restaurant with breathtaking views out the back. The front along the road is a very traditional pub style, while the back is more for dining. There is outdoor seating in the form of picnic benches and I assume that during the summer, this place gets packed. There is a fair amount of parking available in the back, but also along the road. Lunchtime in February was quiet, but the food was and the pints were perfectly poured. Go for the views and the authentic Irish experience. Stopped by to eat on my Dingle way walk and was pleasantly surprised the atmosphere was typical Irish bar with great staff and the food was really and large portions. I was there on a Sunday and the locals were playing music which was really fun. Stop by if you’re drinking tonTralee or Dingle. We didn't end up eating here but stopped by for a couple pints twice in one day. The pub was cozy, but it was nice weather so six of us stayed outside on the patio. The patio overlooked the beach and water, and a horse stood nearby with a couple dogs roaming around protecting the area. Very experience here. Great stop recommended to us by a friend. Arrived just in time for some locals having a jam session, fantastic! The food was great, I had a toastie and the mushroom soup, while my husband had the Bangers & mash. Everything was cooked and seasoned well! A couple ladies at the table next to us had the Goat cheese salad, and it looked amazing! Must try next time! Beautiful bar and restaurant with live music. The burger and chips were so fresh! The staff are kind souls and the view rivals Cannon Beach. Great pints, great food and an amazing view out to sea from the back of the pub. We had dinner here on a Monday evening and it was busy but with a atmosphere and helpful staff. Please note food is served until 20:00 sharp, so it's worth heading a little earlier if you want to eat. The Guinness is very and they have a range of other beer options on draft. The food is hearty pub grub but well made, we enjoyed the oven baked of the day (with lemon cream sauce) and sausages & mash, with the sausages supplied from a quality local butcher. If you've had a walk and need a decent meal, you'll not go hungry here! (Check the board at the bar for daily specials). Gorgeous view from a simple, unpretentious spot at the bar. Conversation with the regulars was witty and welcoming. Stopped in here for dinner last minute while in Castlegregory recently, literally rang 10 minutes before we arrived and they had a table reserved and ready for us. The service was incredible and the food was perfect. 2 people decided on the (battered and oven baked) and they said it was some of the best they've had in a while. I opted for the chicken burger and it was delicious. Has great indoor and outdoor eating options. Plus some cosy tables in the pub section. Although you can't beat the view out onto the bay from the restaurant/outdoor area. Plenty of parking behind the pub off the road and more across the road. It has a small kids playground attached to it next to the carpark. Highly recommended if you're looking for a bite to eat in the area. Decent locally sourced hake and chips although a smaller portion given the money. The skin on chips were but they need to serve more in my opinion (and lose the pointless fake frying baskets). Marrowfat peas excellent. The chocolate brownie and ice cream for pudding was to die for though! Fabulous and chips we have had. The is locally sourced from dingle. The waitress was a gem and the views were calming. Perfect little stop. Best and chips I've EVER had. The was so fresh, caught that day and the breading was so flaky and delicious. Great views of the ocean and sheep on the hills. Indoor and outdoor seating. Don't hesitate to eat here! Dinner out the back on a sunny evening, overlooking the bay. The location is incredible. I had baked cake with mashed potato, roasted vegetables, and a dill cream sauce. Delicious. My companions (4 adults and 3 children) all enjoyed their meals. There is ample parking and a small playground on site. Essen war lecker, wir hatten Salat mit Ziegenkäse, Burger und Pommes + Dessert. Service war sehr freundlich und wir haben rasch im sehr vollen Pub einen Tisch bekommen. Great food and service at a fair price Absolutely incredible staff - so hospitable, friendly and accommodating. We arrived very tired after a long day travelling and walking and couldn’t have hoped for a better place to finish the day, have a burger & a cold cider 😻 thank you so much for everything! Have tried here several times throughout the last 10 years and it has only ever been ok. Food is mediocre, beat thing on the menu is the fudge brownie desert, continuous poor menu offerings. I have decided i.m not giving the place anymore chances so im not ever returning. One of the most delicious dishes in a lovely friendly restaurant with amazing view over Atlantic Ocean 🤩 Had lunch/dinner here. Had the battered of the day which was very nice, others had lamb burger, a bit dry, should prob be served medium rather that well done, the staff were very accommodating for one of our party that wanted their chick gougons in hot sauce. The wing starter was yum but needed celery for the rest of the blue cheese sauce. Would I go back..yes defo. Just some miner issues but over all, a love experience. Plus the views of Tralee bay are amazing. On this visit I'd rate it 8.3/10.
