This review is part of my travel blog from our vacation. National was our first stop on our roadtip. When we arrived I was so gladly surprised. Nice clubhouse, very well situated on above the course. We were warmly welcomed despite that my Golfhaftet card did not work, but we were offered nice discount anyway. So big thanks to owner. I did not have any expectations honestly since it was my first experience with Lithuania golf. Since its owned by english man they have great greens they roll true and are fast enough. Quality of the course was big surprise, nice fairways quite wide, rough deep enough. Weakest points were for me teeboxes, bit roughed at some spots, caused probably by some tournament. Anyway, I like the back nine more than front. Signature holes for me would be 9, 10, 11, 12, 14, 18 :D. Con for someone could be the pactice area, driving range is quite far from clubhouse, however next to the 1st tee. After game refreshement was also good. Great food, great bar. Locker rooms are awesome. So I can only recommend. Highly recommend to stay and play! Unbeatable green fee when you stay here. I booked in the club house. Very service at caddiemaster and restaurant/bar. Check-in was until 6PM. Restaurant opened until 8PM. Breakfast very (good coffee and a’la carte egg dishes). course in a very condition. First 9 holes more tricky than second part. Many dog legs. Hole 9 very tricky and green is up-hill. I took the cart as I played alone and it was the best desicion. It is quite slopey. Book directly via hotel to get the best prices (send request via e-mail)! It was a corse in condition only 20 min. From the moment we arrived and checked in, it was clear that our stay would be less than ideal. Upon check-in, we were handed the key to our without much ceremony. As we entered the room, our initial shock was the sight of flies and bugs everywhere. It was perplexing how a in a seemingly busy hotel could be in such a state. We promptly returned to the reception to express our concerns. To our surprise, the nonchalantly informed us that this was a common problem, which was far from reassuring. They offered us another room, which we reluctantly accepted. The second was an improvement, but it still fell short of our expectations in terms of cleanliness. We were in a hurry and didn't have the luxury of time to change rooms again or look for an alternative place to sleep, so we settled for it. The disappointment continued the next morning when we went to the breakfast area. The breakfast spread was shockingly poor, with only a few eggs, a handful of sausages, bread, and a meager selection of vegetables. The coffee was nothing short of a disappointment - it was far from delicious and felt like an afterthought. Upon checking out, we were met with complete silence from the staff. No "have a nice day," no "hope to see you back," not even a basic "hello." It was as if our concerns and feedback had fallen on deaf ears. In summary, our stay at National Resort was far from satisfactory. The money we paid did not align with the quality of service and cleanliness we received. The lack of attention to detail, poor breakfast, and indifferent left us feeling deeply disappointed. We hope that management takes this feedback seriously and works to improve the overall guest experience. Until then, we cannot recommend this hotel to others looking for a pleasant and comfortable stay. Excellent course, pleasant and great overall experience visiting this little gem. Felt very welcome. We recently visited National Resort with friends from abroad to enjoy a round of golf. The surroundings were beautiful, and most of the were friendly and professional. However, there was one unfortunate incident that marred our visit. When we entered the course cafe, we witnessed a disturbing scene involving a blonde, very looking woman, about 50 years old, who appeared to be a member. She was extremely rude and insulting to another employee, shouting loudly and using inappropriate language. It also seemed that she might have been intoxicated. This was an obvious case of workplace bullying. This incident made us feel very uncomfortable and embarrassed, especially in front of our foreign friends. As a result, we decided to leave and find another place to eat. While we enjoyed the course itself, this unprofessional behavior significantly affected our overall experience. If you support such behavior, then we recommend this place. However, we do not tolerate such conduct, and we will definitely not be returning. Nice course in a nice location. Fast greens but horrible fairway conditions. at the pro shop could be nicer and more polite. Overall overpriced considering the price. There are better courses in Lithuania for lower green fee.
