Last year we played the alcatraz-prison and were a bit disappointed regarding too many number padlocks and the game-master not speaking german. This time after booking the "school of magicians" (harry potter themed room) we got a phone call that the game master will not speak german fluently, but we could switch to english if something isn't clear. I really appreciated this and today we had a really great time playing this clever and fun (with some number/direction/key padlocks), but with all the other mechanism and riddles, this was absolutely ok. Thank you for thr friendly welcome and that experience we had today. The costs for the rooms are still on the upper limit tbo. Liked it very much. However you will need French knowledge The decor and staff are really nice. We tried the ‘pharaon’ room. We didn’t quite enjoy the because it was more based on magic rather than puzzles. We felt that the way we were led to the next steps in the game was mostly by the guidance of the game master and not the clues which we found in the room. I would say this could be a experience for a family spending a relaxed adventure together. But if you are looking forward to opening locks with numbers and putting pieces of evidence together, I would not recommend this to you. Also a bit expensive compared to my previous experiences of escape rooms. Hands down best customer service. Game master follows very well and helps when needed.
