This is a famous restaurant that added a few bungalows at the back of the property. We jad to announce our arrival to the restaurant waiter no manager anywhere the table staff seem to run the entire operation. We were asked for payment upfront which is unusual for some. The overall ambience is SO RELAXING. Just a great pity about the running water from the taps .. we were warned by the property owner the water is not drinkable so came prepared with plenty of bottled water .. but the sulphur smell from the taps made it very unpleasant to take a shower Love coming here, mostly for the animals. They're the best part of this olace, but the food is not so far off either. It's definitely one of my favorite restaurants, and you're sure to leave full. Of course, it's more on the pricey side, but considering this is also an experience, it's understandable. 5 star for live music (tamburasi), lively atmosphere, authentic… Not many tables occupied, but seeing staff busy, tho they were polite and respectful, open to assist and slightly customize the dish, which was very nice, if bread not wanted, should be mentioned, everything else about our waiter was just good. The food was so-so, Teleći Mlinci u Kajmaku were great, Pileći Batak was dry and lacked flavor, but the Mushroom portion was for 4-5 people, just unnecessary too much, the flavor was pretty basic as well. We come for the second time and the impressions are still excellent. The place is very pleasant, the ambience is nice and relaxing. The food is delicious and freshly prepared, and the waiters are extremely friendly and helpful. We especially liked that it has a petting zoo and an organized area for children, although I think that the children's corner could be improved a little more. Today there was also a girl who animated the children – they drew, colored and had a great time, which made our stay even more beautiful and made it easier for the parents to enjoy the meal. Another great touch is the live music – there were three musicians playing today, and their performance added to the warm and cheerful atmosphere without being intrusive. All in all, highly recommended for a family outing or lunch in nature. In the immediate vicinity is the Carska bara reserve, which is worth visiting and can be an excellent addition to the excursion. We had a lunch for Labor day (1.05) in Trofej restaurant and are satisfied with the service. If you are looking to visit Trofej, make sure you call them and make a reservation in advance. The wild boar goulash with homemade gnocchi was out of this world, and the pork knuckle in dark beer was fall-off-the-bone perfect.
