It is a nice place but has some small things that ruins it. Just like the gates everywhere, you have to get trough 2 to get from inside to outside. I understand it has to do with counting how many people are where, but there were security guards too, you can give a 10 cent counter in their hands.... A lot of things outside need a renovation. The bath for small kids is extremely separated from the others. I visited this SPA on Sunday in the winter time. There is three areas to enjoy as a park with sliding and children bath area, thermal baths(three baths with temperature from 36 up to 40 degree). Good saunas area there you also use a cold bath after, ice also available.. Cafe open at site. Free car parking. The Kaposvar Spa is a complex of thermal baths, saunas, massage facilities, outdoor pools, jacuzzis, shallow pools for kids, a few not-too tall slides, and a beach. It has a buffet inside where you can purchase drinks, sandwiches, and in the summer season when the open air pools are working there are several food facilities outside serving burgers, hot dog, simple dishes. The place is not pricy, even on an average Hungarian budget. If you are from the West of Europe, or the U.S. you will find it an excellent deal: entrance fees for a full day are around 8 USD, 6 EUR, or 5 GBP. Food items are usually around 1,5-3 GBP. There is also a shop selling bathing suits, towels, swimming goggles, etc. in case you have left anything at home. The place is well staffed. Members of staff speak some level of English and German in general, and they are polite, not intrusive. I recently had a terrible experience at the local thermal and spa facility. From the moment I arrived, I was met with unprofessional and rude staff. I stood at the reception desk for 10 minutes while the workers complained about their work life to each other, completely ignoring me. To make matters worse, there was no light in the reception area, which was very concerning and uninviting. When I finally got the attention of the lady at the desk, she asked her colleague to help me as she continued gossiping. I was shocked to find out that I couldn't buy a day pass for the facility. Instead, I was told that I had to purchase a 5 or 10-day pass. This is completely unacceptable, as I only wanted to use the facility for one day. I was so frustrated and disappointed that I left without even using the spa. It's outrageous that the facility has three people working at the reception desk, yet they can't even turn on the lights to make the area more welcoming. Furthermore, denying customers the option to purchase a single day pass is unacceptable. I would not recommend this facility to anyone and suggest they go elsewhere for a better experience It's a great park, the slides are great, the thermalbath are good too, it also has an affordable price. I used to come here often with my Family, in the past it used to be a very good experience for us. Today, we again went with the family, and the was full of slimy gunk. The recirculating pumps were not turned on, and I don’t know how long this has been sitting idle. It looks exactly like when you leave rain outside for a couple of months, and the top is full of slimy green gunk. After asking the staff, they said it was normal, even though I have never seen this before in my previous visits. It feels like a breeding ground for bacteria. I won’t come again Beautiful place with lots to do. Affordable prices, exciting pools and good slides, perfect for families. It's clean, not crowded at all, it's easy to spend the whole day here from opening to closing. On main entrance and information desk, one cannot find anybody who speaks english, or any other language except of hungarian, and this should be a location where tourists are visiting. The place was closed due to the freshmen gathering of sort, and day before, we couldn't see any notice of sort, so we've basicly had worst experience after travling for two hours there. At information desk there should always be emoplyee who speaks english...
