Sehr viele Gänse haben sich ebenso hier niedergelassen und versperren durch ihre hohe Anzahl oft Radwege und verschmutzen Wiesen und den Sandstrand. Teilweise kann man nicht spazieren gehen ohne durch Gänsekot zu laufen. Das ist abhängig von der Jahreszeit und nicht immer Fall, dennoch ein großer Minuspunkt.
