Am already looking forward to my next visit 🙂 Having not played here before I was pleasantly surprised by this course it had some nice features about it water elevation, I had one of my better days on the course so I may be a little bit bias its always a great place when you play well 41pts off 12 with 1 scratch so if I had to give a negative it's a bit short but ideal for the society golfer and yes I would recommend a visit. Didn’t get to play but I was taking some photos for st pats Palmerstown. So got to walk around the course a bit and it was a lovely lad out course. Pleasantly surprised as it is almost 20 years since I was previously there. The golf course is still a bit tight but is in very good condition. The food in the restaurant is decent with very good and friendly service. Peter Played there today not a member but travelled up to watch Irish open So impressed with the course immaculately kept clubhouse very nice and welcoming We play at monkstown golf course in cork which is a very well kept course also which hosted Irish pga last month If I was living local to this club I would definately join Challenging yet forgiving course. Very well kept and manicured when played. We had a lovely family meal here on Sunday afternoon. 7 adults and 7 children. Food and service were above our expectation. Lovely course always a good standard when I have played it. But was very slow took 3 hours to play 11 holes. Also my Garmin golf watch was giving me all the wrong distances to the hole. We asked in the pro shop was this fixed since last time we played and we were told it was but for example, on hole 3 it was coming up a par 3 but it was actually a par 5 very frustrating. It was all over the place.
