Really place. Staff is so and helpful and after travelling around Ireland looking at different shops this one is very good value and has a lot of unique gifts. Highly recommend Very small cafe. Lovely - service is very fast. I had the ham and cheese, tomato and onion panini. It was delicious with a side of crisps. Would return if doing a tour of Tara again! Breathtaking little shop, with absolutely lovely staff. Very patient and willing to help with anything that was needed. The cafe next door was brilliant as well. A little pricy for what you get, but definitely worth a stop if you’d like a quick bite. Got hot chocolate, tea and a couple of muffins here yesterday. Girl left us standing there and forgot to make our order until someone else thought we were queuing to pay and made it for us, muffins were nothing special and freezing out of the fridge. Hot chocolate was just grand. I did like the little sitting area outside This has become a go to spot for us when we go to Ireland. It's become a "we've arrived!" stop for us and is such a spot to catch your breath after traveling. It's a short drive from the Dublin airport, is in a beautiful setting and has a great menu. The are very and they have an excellent little shop as well. Highly recommended! Maguires cafe & shop has such a similar energy to the hill it is built on . Calm & welcoming . Enjoyed a beautiful healthy brekkie here, the menu will suit all tastes, with something for everybody . Staff were excellent, professional and friendly. Homemade cakes which were very hard not to pass by , had to take one away . Great shops with some locally themed items. After a revitalising walk on the hill , it’s hard not to drop in for a taste of the menu . Parking opposite for €2 , which is recommended, as parking is difficult on the roads around . Food was good, we wanted to sit and eat the front counter items, and my husband was tagged on another 6 euros for some salad garnish, a bit dissapointed with that, the server also wasn't very lively. The front ladies were great though, lots of cool items to look at in the store! Pictures I ordered the avocado and tomato toast. Came more like a salad! Stil nutritious and good! The Tara Maguire Shop at the Hill of Tara offers a charming and cozy spot for visitors looking to enjoy a quick bite or browse local crafts. Your experience of having the brownie and an Americano highlights one of the shop's key features – its rich, indulgent treats. The brownie is likely one of those decadent, homemade-style desserts that are packed with flavor, perfect for satisfying a sweet tooth after a visit to the historic site. The Americano, was robust and full-bodied, complementing the richness of the brownie. Many visitors appreciate the warm and welcoming atmosphere, with and a quaint setting that reflects the rich history of the Hill of Tara itself. Along with tasty baked goods, the shop also offers a range of unique Irish crafts, souvenirs, and gifts. Overall, it's a great stop for anyone visiting the area, combining delicious refreshments with a lovely shopping experience. It has a beautiful view that soothes your soul. The desserts are delicious. The hot chocolate was especially delicious. I've always liked boutique cafes like this more than larger ones. Took a stop here to grab some waffles and hot chocolate after visiting hill of Tara. The place has a very cozy vibe and a lovely attentive staff. Great place for coffee, with a view of the hill of Slane. barista. Good coffee with and amazing view at a very affordable price Even have some birdies serenading me while I had my coffee 😉 Really coffee and gift/book shop with plenty of parking and outdoor seating areas. The Cappuccinos were excellent and the Rocky Road was one of the best I’ve ever had. I liked it so much - I forgot to take a picture of it. This place is well worth a visit if you are heading to or from the Hill of Tara - which is literally just up the road a bit and is also a terrific spot and well worth visiting, and dog too. Absolute delight of a cafe with staff, excellent food, and a wonderful atmosphere. Absolutely worth a stop in to have a cup of something warm or a good meal.
