Food that's on par with the best out there. Have been here a few times and never been let down by the quality and taste of the food. A bit out of the way but worth it and plenty of parking available. Great food, great staff the locals make sure there's a bit of craic to be had in the bar after a delicious meal. Ideal for parties big or small and with plenty of parking too, we'll definitely be back! Had a very nice lunch here. They have a good selection of beers, and the food was plentiful and tasty. There are some interesting items to look at on the way in. It was a wonderful experience, the atmosphere of a countryside Irish pub was comforting, the food wad gorgeous , especially the Steak on the stone, home burger was nice too. Also want to say thank for the great costumer service. Lovely atmosphere. The two waitresses (sisters) were very efficient and friendly considering how many people they had to look after Portion sizes were good, except for the fish and chips, it was WAY too big. Will definitely be calling again. Had chicken wings, pizzas and fish n chips. All very nice. Lovely evening so ate outside- nice outdoor area. Inside nicely decorated and spacious. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Food was delicious, atmosphere was typical of an Irish "country" pub in the most complimentary of ways, and the service was delightful—especially when it came to Ava as a server, she deserves extra credit for her attentiveness and good humour in dealing with our group ☺️ Have never been disappointed with the Hatchet in my many trips there for dinner and drinks, and I doubt I ever will! Well worth the drive out every time! Just in from another lovely evening in The Hatchet! Food, as always, was amazing! Cocktails were just so!!! And our waitress, Ava, was absolutely 10/10!!
