First stop and night in Norway. Stuff super friendly and quick. We got a spot for us and had a space close to the sea with a wonderful view. 2prs & dog 200NOK (20€) inkl wlan, shower etc. toilets clean. For us to much family camping, we need more silence during the day but for one night and our purpose perfect, that’s why 5* I stayed in one of the small cabins for a biketour around Oslo Fjord. I think the cabins are reasonably priced for what you get (4 bunk beds, fridge 2 cooking tops, but no running water, and shared showers/toilets). The cabins have electric panel ovens for heating (still needed in May). Bring your own towels/bedding, or rent a set in addition. The common shower/toilet facilities were extremely clean and were cleaned multiple times during my stay. I will definitely return. Bit overcrowded with many permanent residents. Frederic at the reception was awesome by organizing a parking for us near the airport for our long Campervan. Most parking spots refuse vehicles longer than 5.5M. One of the resident was obviously a bully and appeared drunk trying to be bossy with us...typical racist European mindset... Beautiful campsite, good shower, washing and cooking facilities. The staff was really kind to allow us to reenter the campsite and pitch our posted in the night. We visited in September and that's why we were there only people to pitch the tent.. most campers looked like they are staying for a long time in their RVs Perfect place which offer different options from places to small/medium cabins. Some highlights includes, - Clean toilets and shower facilities - Super friendly and helpful staff - nicely organized areas to hangout within the facility ( hammock area, BBQ place, dance floor, etc) - really nice and shallow beach perfect for families with kids - kiosk to buy ice cream/groceries and a brand new pizza joint - many beaches nearby within short walks and a nice hike to bjornåsen. Highly recommended 🤩🤩 Beautiful location at the South end of the Oslofjord with great views over the fjord. Clean facilities and really hot showers, quiet character, space for tents and cabins offered. The price for a with car was really reasonable and included the use of the showers which is not always a given on Norwegian sites. The ground for the tents was even and smooth and the soil just of the right density to push in the pegs. There was also a rubbish bin at the entrance to the area so we didn't have to walk all the way to the service house. There were several wheelchair access toilets and showers. Stopped by for a night during my cycle Trip from Oslo to Berlin. Clean campsite, pitches directly located at the shore, clean facilities and also a kitchen. Been the only Camper mid september. A bit pricy though. We booked for one night and paid in advance before arriving. When we checked in, we asked the reception if there were suitable spots available. The young person at the front desk confidently assured us that there were sites. However, when we went to find our spot, all we discovered was a small beach area with tents crammed together. The remaining spaces were either rocky ground unsuitable for pegs or had steep angles (who can sleep comfortably on uneven ground?). In the end, we reluctantly settled for a tiny patch of land near the barbecue grill. After setting up our tent, both neighboring campers complained that we were too close to them. We didn’t want to be right next to others, but the issue was that this campsite charged guests without considering whether there was enough suitable space for camping. Although they later attempted to resolve the situation by moving us to a specific area (which is only why we gave them two stars), we were already exhausted from our long journey. To make matters worse, the staff didn’t inform us that showers were unavailable between 10 PM and 11 PM. So, despite our fatigue (having moved campsites twice), we had to wait an extra hour just to shower and relax. Most of the campsite was occupied by long-term rental RVs, leaving a pitifully small space for tents, and everyone was squeezed together. The beautiful beach is the only advantage. We definitely wouldn’t recommend there..
