Entrance fee 11 chf come before 16.00 pm and you can enjoy boat ride in the , good place and not expensive Beautiful place to visit. It's a quaint lake, but it's gorgeous to look at - incredibly peaceful location at the beginning of June. Parking is 5 CHF for 4 hours or 10 CHF for 24hrs. You could technically do the entire park in an hour, however behind the there's a bridge over the river which takes you to some beautiful hiking trails which I highly recommend! Not include in Swiss pass but it is a great short stop. The is crystal clear and blue due to the deposit of the mineral. There is a legend of the maiden who was die here, which you can see her sculpture in the water. It is more like a pond to me than a lake. You can see waterfall from Here too. Coffee shop and restaurant are inside that offers freer resztroom - you have to pay 2 CHF if you use it from the tourist / gift shop outside. There is a hiking trail to Kendersteg but it is like more than 10km one way which I did not do . Blausee is truly stunning and breathtaking—the crystal-clear turquoise water looks almost unreal, and the peaceful forest setting makes it feel like a hidden gem. It’s the kind of place that makes you stop and just admire the beauty around you. The area is really well kept, and there’s a relaxing vibe that’s perfect for families or anyone wanting to unwind in nature. However, it's important to know that the place is actually quite small. If you're someone looking to go on a big adventure or explore for hours, it might feel a bit underwhelming. There isn’t a whole lot to "discover" beyond the and short walking paths. But if you're a family or a couple just looking to spend a quiet afternoon in a beautiful spot, then it’s definitely worth it. Bring some snacks, enjoy the scenery, and just take it slow. Visiting Blausee in Switzerland was like stepping into a fairytale. Surrounded by towering pine forests and misty mountains, the crystal-clear, turquoise waters took my breath away. The first thing I did was simply wander along the walking paths that circle the lake. Every angle offered a different view—sunlight dancing on the water, trees reflected like a mirror, and the occasional fish gliding silently below the surface. After taking in the peaceful scenery, I sat down at the lakeside restaurant. With a warm plate of fresh trout and a glass of local wine, I felt completely content. The gentle breeze and soft sounds of made the meal even more memorable. One of the highlights was renting a small wooden boat and slowly rowing across the calm lake. It felt like time stood still. I wasn’t just sightseeing—I was truly part of the moment. Later, I found a quiet bench under the trees and opened my book. Reading there, surrounded by and calm, brought a deep sense of happiness and clarity. Blausee isn't just a place to visit—it's a place to feel. Every activity, from walking to boating to reading, becomes a quiet celebration of and inner peace. A magical place surrounded by alpine nature. The turquoise-blue water looks straight out of a fairy tale, especially on a sunny day. Peaceful forest trails, fresh mountain air, and a calm atmosphere make it perfect for a relaxing day trip. Visiting off-season is recommended to avoid the crowds. Great infrastructure, a cozy restaurant with local food, and plenty of spots to sit and enjoy the view. Highly recommended for lovers and photographers. very nice for weekend travel, best experience and friendly for those who travel with kids. There’s some restaurant and cafe as well inside, where you can have cake or coffee, or eat local vorel fish. At the exit, there’s shop where u can buy souvenirs. One of the first places on my bucketlist. But a bit blinded by the beauty I did not see the 13,- entree fee p.p. (during the week it’s 11) plus payed parking. So we made the mistake by adding it as a “quick stop” so I would recommend to spend time and get your money’s worth. Nonetheless a breathtaking view especially when the sun hits the directly. Don’t miss the amazing river on the side as well.
