It was an amazing going down Trebižat river. The organisation was great and half way though we had amazing lunch. The hosts were amazing. The only negative thing was that they had to combine two large groups into one for the last half of the trip because you need 2 skippers with you. This caused a lot of waiting for everyone to go down every rapid. Were this avoided, it would have been absolutely perfect. This way, it was this awesome and I would definitely recommend them! 10/10 Special thanks to our skipper Josip! He was very professional, accommodating and was very knowledgeable so we felt comletely safe during the whole trip. We have no words to describe what an incredible day we had with CST. Our skipper Marin was a fun guide and went overboard to take care of us. The highlight for us were the beautiful damselflies flying all around us! Absolutely gorgeous! Everything was meticulously planned and of course the lunch!! Marija accommodated our dietary restrictions and cooked us the best meal we had in all of Bosnia!! Thank you Marin, Marija and Mario for an unforgettable day! This is our second time with the same agancy and I must say they are even better now than two years ago. I highly recommed everyone this amazing experience. It’s skippers job to make sure everyone is alright, so it’s totally fine if you’re a little bit clumsy. Amazing highly recommend! The hosts were outstanding, everything that was agreed upon was fulfilled—actually, even more than that, which is a true rarity these days. Precision, great communication, helpfulness, hospitality… never before have I witnessed or experienced such dedication (strength, patience, selflessness) from skippers who, when needed, would literally jump out of their canoes—waist-deep in water—to guide the boats safely and prevent any tipping or mishaps. Wholeheartedly RECOMMENDED!!! Absolutely incredible all round - and an amazing family - it was a pleasure to support their business!! They are well-known within Bosnia but less so overseas - we did our research and found them online, but our Airbnb host strongly recommended them to us too (without knowing that we had already booked with them) when we arrived in Sarajevo. The canoes were sturdy and comfortable to sit in, the equipment are all well maintained. Our guides spoke English and were extremely friendly and welcoming. We were given lifts to and from Capljina train station to the river. Coffee on arrival, lunch and transport were all included in the price. We were given waterproof barrels to safely store our belongings in. They also purchased professional insurance for each visitor, again included in the price. The food was home cooked and some of the best we've tasted in our time in Bosnia. There were 5 varieties of meat and lots of vegetables and fruit - including one of the biggest tomatoes we have ever seen (it was the size of a small pumpkin). Most of the vegetables were grown in the family's own gardens and the wine came from a vineyard nearby owned by the family's relatives. The canoeing route is suitable for beginners and suitably challenging for us towards the end, with some small waterfalls to go over. The river is beautiful and peaceful - the water is pristine and clear, you could see mountains in the background, you could see ducks and many types of birds, there are horses near the riverbank, and we were the only group on the river during our trip! We played beach volleyball with local Bosnians - they were the only other people on the same canoe outing with us. This is their version of a 'corporate social' which we were very jealous of! Overall value for money and quality of is outstanding - it is the stand out for us during our entire trip in Bosnia. There was a group of 36 people and we were all very pleased with the service. It was a pleasure to support a real family business -and they are still very professional at the same time. :) Hosts and skippers were very patient with a such a big group and had an a answers and time for everyone.
