Really nice. I love these Bosnia necropolis’ and this is probably the best. Beautiful carvings. And it’s right next to the highway I am very glad we stopped here. My tour guide did a lot of research on this necropolis and pushed for us to go. He was very informative and it was very interesting. I would recommend stopping by this site. This necropolis is one of many that dot the countryside throughout the country and are medieval tombstones from the now-extinct Bosnian Church. While not all of the ones you see are originally from the same location, it is still impressive that the municipality has put together this kind of collection and not that far away from the town of Stolac itself. The entrance fee is a little high for what it is but I guess things this old require upkeep, so no major complaints from my side, either. Take the time to go up close - while there is no discernible text, some of the carvings are very elaborate and worth a look. This was an eye-opening experience where we learned about early Bosnian history. If you are visiting Bosnia, especially for the first time, you really should visit this historical site. Lots of good information about the site and great facilities. Helpful ticket office. The necropolis itself was rather small, but significant in Bosnian history. If you are a foreigner living in Bosnia, it costs only 5 km. Tombstones are great. The test part is under construction, like garden. Cash payment accepted only : ( Value/price isn't the best Already knew some of the but there is just a single panel brochure … a few paragraphs, no other and context… odd. 8KM per person is high for that amount of vagueness at a historical site. Probably much more enjoyable on a tour. Should not be a big lift to add some signage or even a small room exhibit with some information. The Bogomil Cemetery in Radimlija is a hidden gem worth visiting. With its beautiful stone tombstones, known as stećci, the site offers a fascinating look into the region's and culture. The intricate carvings and peaceful surroundings create a serene atmosphere, perfect for reflection. It's a fantastic place for buffs and anyone looking to enjoy some quiet time in nature. Overall, Radimlija’s cemetery is a unique spot that leaves a lasting impression!
