It was really especially the amber one, that had caramelized aroma and specific light notes of wheat left! We are difinatelly going to go back there, as we were also happily having great soups, with home made breads stuffed with cheese and yellow cheese or if you would like plain garlic! Cheers! Very place in the heart of the city. The homemade food was delicious. I could drink very rare but fruit was delicious. We ordered stuffed eggplant and gratin with chicken- everything was delicious. I had the stuffed eggplant and garlic bread. It was excellent. I don’t know why anyone would come to this place in order a hamburger. The waitress recommended Amber over the strawberry beer. It was also good. As the rest of Tryavna, Bulgaria and the World - Luc's is changing. And all of them - not always towards better. Neither the beer, the food or the atmosphere were as as the last time we visited. The staff was friendly and did their best. Even when they tried to explain why they have all these wines listed in the menu, but not in the restaurant. And yes, we started with the beer, but none of them was worth a second round so wanted to switch to wine. Food was OK. None of it too excited to mention or remember. The place is a bit over hyped. The was but the burger was mediocre unfortunately - too much mayo and the brioche was not fluffy enough. It's OK for a one time visit. Cozy pub by the river bank with a view to the small bridge. We asked for typical Bulgarian dishes and got a porc roast with mushroom sauce, a Wienerschnitzel (beef instead of veal or porc), and porc with chimichurry sauce. We did not realize that the idea was sharing the dishes. The portions were huge. Had we known it, we would have ordered the first two dishes and a salad to share, since there were no vegetables. The porc with mushroom sauce was very tender and full of flavour and the beef schnitzel surprisingly good. The fries that came with it were also very yummy. The last dish was also nice, but a bit swear and not as as ghe other two. Make sure to order bread (garlic or cheese), as it is a local speciality. A place with home-brewed beer. We dined on homemade sausages (probably from a local master butcher Zachary) with fries and a village salad, and we were satisfied with every course. My only complaint is the fruit - I don't think real fruit is used to make it. I would be happy if it was replaced with with honey and some local herb, the idea is to stick to local products. In addition, I noticed that the fruit was not drunk at almost any table, which should signal something. Paid 19 BGN for what was advertised as a Beef Toast — turned out to be a small ciabatta with a sliced mozzarella ball, a fistful of green salad, and exactly 8 tiny, tough-to-chew pieces of beef.
